- A prerelease build of NES Uninvited features a radically different narration than what everyone remembers from the NES or original Mac games.
How accurate the text is to 悪魔の招待状/Akuma no Shōtaijō/The Devil's Invitation is unknown to me. But it seems to be based off of it.
Finally! After all these years, I know what the hell was up with all those screenshots on the back of the box!
9:34 This is the only description I prefer over the actual NES release.
"The monster is skinning you. Your body is covered with blood and you are helpless to resist. You can no longer move..." That sounds much more horrific and unsettling than "The strange amorphous creature begins to rip you apart!! Its shrieking face is the last thing you'll ever see!!"
That danger sound theme is like Boss Battle theme!

this reminds me of Deja vu
I don't get it 'a small soft cushioned couch, ouch there is a hard object'?
Good thing they changed the dialogue, because this is awful lol.
can you please do ways to failed missions of GTA Liberty City Stories and GTA Vice City Stories please

Yikes! Talk about needing a grammar check. This may be rare but not great by any means.
You are in your period of opposites so you can't obey the voice
Clearly translated from Japanese directly... seems they just took the original PC script and changed it up instead of translating directly for the final release - which clearly was the right choice, because in Japan MacVenture games don't have a good reputation.
@@mariusamber3237 We now get a slice of the "Inexplicable first person narration" experience that Famicom players have, uh, "enjoyed" all these years
