That's a badass tractor, I just made a intake for my 18 vanguard, single carb 34mm mikuni, I've seen a few vanguard engine builds with the motor turned around, which is a hell of a lot better for the throttle and wiring, I think I'll turn mine around
Man Sean that is one baddass machine, are there any downsides to mounting the engine backwards ? I'd imagine it made the choke/throttle cable connections a bit easier to accomplish
@@redzz02 you already know I'm a built not bought kinda guy, it would be awesome to own the haspin build but that's a long drive to Pennsylvania, I'm only trying to make that drive for TTC 2021
Nabiel Suleiman power mods are last, you can have a blast with 5hp. First modification should be locking your transaxle, next mod would be larger more aggressive rear tires/and larger front tires. Next would be a foot throttle to make it easier to drive. Next would be bumpers and any reinforcements needed to the frame
jack meoff this motor does not have a cam and actually none of mine do, the original plan was to put a cam in this motor but I haven't bit the bullet yet and actually bought one, just go on google and search vanguard vtwin cam and several places will pop up
Heck yeah I enjoy it! Very nice, full of so many detail, and custom made parts. I would really love to see a vid on how you make your fuel cell/gas tank. When does voting end? I will go in the message board soon! Great job! Thanks for sharing the knowledge you have!
Paulie Detmurds maybe one day I'll be able to make a video of making the fuel cell, their are pictures on the forum of it bent up before I welded it, the competition ends nov.30 I think theirs a two week brake to overlook the builds and then two weeks to vote! Thanks for the support
Dude, not to sound like a jerk, but you're over exaggerating that roll over. Every mower guy I know has rolled his, and none of them ever had any issues other than a dent or two and some scratches.
T.J. Boismier I don't think I was over exaggerating anything....? I just explained what happened to it? I'm not sitting here saying omg I almost lost my life or anything like that. I wish I had pictures from when I rolled my mud dynamark down a hill several years ago when my steering wheel broke off, the whole body tunnel got bent and shifted to the side, the carburetor broke off the motor.
T.J. Boismier I literally roll my mowers all the time, the difference is this one is entered in the build off competition and the dead line is next Friday haha
@@redzz02 Well the worst I've ever seen honestly is oil dripping down the pcv and it smoked for a minute. I just think it's a little over the top saying "This is what saved my whole motor" and stuff. And believe me, I know what that's like, lol. I broke the shifter on my 2300 internally 1.5 weeks before the end, managed to find a new one on Craigslist and it's finishing.
T.J. Boismier who's to say that it didn't save my motor? The video was cut off halfway through my roll over it continued to slide down the hill on it's hood. Do you really think a tractor sliding down on a sheet metal hood and plastic grill wouldn't have been more damaged if their was not an engine cage there to support it? If the hood would have collapsed my exhaust is above my engine and could have busted that off or even damaged my heads, just because you have only Seen minor damage on roll overs doesn't mean others haven't sustained worse on their rigs, i don't have a spare hood laying around to swap out either, my point is the engine cage in fact did save a lot of components on this build and it perform exactly how I hoped it would
You are so talented!!
Thank you! I appreciate that

Mr. Savage no down sides to mounting it “backwards” it’s for sale for $1100 if you’d like to buy it
@@redzz02 lol I got my hands full with Rasputin but I'm looking to eventually build a real frame and the works on a brand new rig

how long did it take to build?
Several months
I'm just starting and want to use my simplicity mower 16hp and what to start with more power and tires bigger tires what should I start with

I need extreme help with my steering if you could give me a video of how your steering is built
Watch the build series it's in there
Love the build brother. Great job
pauls random moments thanks glad you like it!
Is that a stock steering shaft and gears going down from the steering wheel?
levi griggs no it’s direct steering
Do you know how to make a lawn mower with hydro static transaxle faster
Easiest answer is you don’t, sell it and get a manual shift transaxle
@@redzz02 thanks
Good looking rig, wish you the best in the competition.
andrew brinker thank you very much!
Stellar effort buddy!
Lawn Gone Tractor Shop thanks!
I been following your build. Im glad you changed that left foot throttle. Left foot throttle plus right foot clutch!!! That shit has to feel goofy.
Crook County Customs I’ve been running dynamarks from the beginning, I build my machines for myself not other people so I’m completely used to it
Been binge watching this channel. Love the simplicity of what's done but also the effectiveness of the rig. Great ideas and build!
