As someone who to this day uses a wood burning stove to heat his home, it was very hard/funny to watch lud struggle to make a fire. Very entertaining 10/10 would watch him struggle again

@@SirFlooberis I'm not sure if that was a real bear. A bear weighs over six hundred pounds and has claws up to four inches long. It could kill a grown man with one swipe of a paw. I'm pretty sure Ludwig is lying to his viewers.

This video was an entire rollercoaster, and that ending was like the rollercoaster flew off its rails and rammed straight into a child’s birthday party: it was a tragedy, but the craziness of it all kept me from looking away
I now really wanna see shit camp being at an actual camp and watching all the streamers fail to setup tents or cook food and just driving to the nearest gas station for chips

being exposed directly to fire for long enough can cause the metal to melt and seep into the food, its widely known as being very toxic when it enters your system this way, on a proper cooking fire, elevated above it like most people do its completely fine. Fire will heat it up to just below its combustion point used the way he did which while it wont combust it will melt over time

Why is everyone freaking out in chat about “aluminum poisoning”. That’s not how that works lol. You can use aluminum foil for cooking on a campfire, although that’s usually on the embers of a fire after it’s cooled down a little. But this didn’t reach anywhere close to hot enough to melt the aluminum.
That last dude just gave his girl PTSD thanks to you Ludwig.

The outside/fake camping stream was unironicly amazing.
It’s grand to know that, in the event that an apocalypse happens, and I were to hypothetically be in a situation where I need Ludwig to start I fire while I hunted for food, I would come back to a tiny flame under barely burned with Ludwig holding a potato over the fire, with his bare hands, yelling “Oh My God this fire is hot!”
Ngl when I watched this live I feel asleep. I woke up to Ludwig being quote “attacked by a bear”. I was genuinely concerned.
That last part had me laughing so hard I had tears in my eyes

Quick fact for the viewers in case you wanna try bear meat, Bear meat not cooked to correct temp = increased risk of trichinosis. May help the nurses at the ER when you are pooping your brains out. Kinda like undercooked pork :)
Same thing with cougars and WILD boars or pigs. The kill temp of trichinae is about 137 for an hour, but every single bit of meat has to reach that temperature to be safe to eat. Or you could always freeze the meat for a month, but some subspecies are immune to freezing, so it’s always much safer cooking to well done.
