Tonka Truck Custom Restoration - Texas A&M Tribute Gig Em Aggies! - Oddly Satisfying Toy Restoration

Custom Restoration of a 1960's Gambles Department store pick-up truck. This toy restoration would have looked great in its original colors and decals, but I wanted to do something other than just the plain white powder coat paint, so I decided to do a custom restoration in tribute to the Texas A&M Aggies. This restomod was a gift for my father in law, so in addition to getting to work on an awesome project, I got a smile out of the big guy with a nice addition to his man cave. Great restoration Tim. Being Catholic, born in Chicago my Mother had a special devotion to the Blessed Virgin which I inherited. She said I should cheer for Notre Dame, Our Lady and have been a fan since I was 11(1962). The tattoo on my left bicep of Touchdown Jesus, with the ND logo underneath with old English letters saying Fighting Irish of Notre Dame says it all. I'd love to see a truck painted navy blue and gold. I'll have to work on that.👍✌🍻♣
