Great video thank you. Always a joy of to watch, observe and draw clouds. John Constable did that so well many years ago, the sky is the unchanging part of our modern landscape......
John Constable did a great job capturing the clouds. Also the Dutch masters such as Ruysdael, Avercamp and Van Goyen. If the sky is the unhanging part of our modern landscape, clouds are ever changing. An endless inspiration to watch, observe and capture.
Hi i just watched yiur video and it looked good i did try it but it didn't end up the shame shape as yours. However it was a goid video to learn frim but it would been nice if we would see the shape more in the paper so i could see the layout more. I know you haf to speed up the video but it would been nice to see where you started to do the shading a been able to follow it steps by step as a beginner a total novice it was difficult to see hiw you did thinks after the video was slowed down again is they a way to show us the step by step how to make our cloud looking goid like yours Thanks Phil
plz i have a question how the dust and smoke effects were done in classical tom and jerry were they done by pastel plz if you know th answer tell me i have searched a lot but find nothing and thanks
Thanks, i love watching clouds but I have problem where its hard for me to capture it on my phone. Now, its time for me to learn by drawing it. Wish me luck, and good luck for others too :)
Sorry .. .but this is not much better then you draw as a "dont" ... Why did you use the exact draw line to distinguish different parts of the second cloud. it remains visible ... Also Cumulus clouds are "heavy, dark and almost "straight" on bottom ... Not bad shading, but still ... some lines are too much visible

It will be very interesting to compare this video with the next one... Thanks Stayf !
I first needed to explain the basics, otherwise the video would be too long.
It's 12 am right now and I have a art exam tomorrow and I was struggling with the clouds so this video really helped
