everything you say is so trueee!! so important to explore what you really like and turn off instagram for a sec. I feel like if you mainly follow characters (like for example influencers) you can easily get distracted by the aura of the person and get tricked into thinking that you also like their style so much that you want to have a certain piece (although it's not really your style)
its ok, we can trust Uniqlo because they're Japanese! We can trust those guys, right??? No doubt, the key to really getting into fashion is understanding your "wardrobe" and saving for the really nice stuff.
(speaking for myself) I'd love a Matthew Williams video, definitely the type of synopsis I'd be interested in hearing / Also, you're very well spoken and whoever is in the background making those comments makes the video so funny 💀
Very nice video! I do agree about the point of closing instagram for a couple of days. I feel I sometimes just want pieces just because so and so wore it. There's a thin line between taking inspiration and straight up copying others
Sometimes I get confused about items that I love, just for their themselves, but their meaning in the world sort of adds something that I don’t want. Also concerned that this will affect longevity, in terms of the the enjoyment of wearing them. So, for example, Margiela Tabi pumps and the Jil Sander whipstitch anklet shoes. I love both of these, and they completely fit with my long-term style (slightly witchy). But they are so well known, and associated with these hugely famous brands, and overexposed right now... anyway, fun problems to have 🤷♀️
you are so right. funny that you mention the Tabis and Jil Sander shoes, because i‘ve been thinking for so long about both of them and decided to go for the studded Jil Sander flats. I dont feel like they‘re too overexposed and I just love them, since they still have their perfect amount of awkwardness to them 😂 but most importantly, they are still a classic piece and worth to invest.
@@tubaavalon oh good decision! They are beautifully awkward 😁 and I bet you will wear them so well 👌 I may have been in a slightly bad mood that day 😾😹 now thinking I should be proud to wear items by these wonderful designers 🖤 (actually LOVE Galliano at Margiela, such a strange but interesting combination) so might just go ahead 💸🙂🖤🙃🖤 thanks for your wonderful videos
I came across your ig and YT channel recently....great content and point of views. Keep up the great work. Ill be tuning in frequently. Side note your trousers are sick... mind saying where to find them or providing a link!
Actually uniqlo has a lot of unanswered questions about their factories. I've read that their workers are overworked in poor condition like most other fast fashion brands
@@tubaavalon Also not a good idea to trust Japan when it comes to working conditions as they are pretty bad when you compare them to other first world nations. totally, we are madly blinded by what we see day in and out that our own stylistic vision is being distracted and diluted by it.
Another great video. Had to activate my google translate for the title though haha.
one day i will learn to use my youtube studio right! 😂

@@isahhamisuisah6956 I concur 🤝
yes, guess its the only way to find your own stylistic route in this jungle
Totally agree with investing in clothing! For me, the mindset should always be getting quality pieces and wearing them well.
making more rational choices, but still being fun is the key 😌✨
@@tubaavalon exactly! 👍
More Prada, please!!! THANK YOU!!!
haha,ok!
“Do I look good in real estate?” 😫😫🤣

Uniqlo is very problematic, a lot of scandals with work conditions
I thought you were a high schooler with really good taste, it turns out you’re in your 20s like me ahaha!
