This game I was allowed on china, that starts united...
I did what any rational human being would and went for a tank China. The japanese player did not appreciate having to do anti tank for the chinawar.

@@ParanoidAlaskan to be fair it wouldn't have mattered. they will never be able to get more supply in then the defenders. it's just like how the Allies can only win D-day when Germany has fewer than some critical number of tanks in the area (because they're off fighting Russia)

In a way, Tommykay is totally right on the state of Hoi4 MP. People are less skilled because they ban China's, they ban France holding, they give free wins to Germany, Italy and Japan. I know you want WWII, but look at this. He didn't build up a port for more supply. He didn't navally invade to force the tanks away from the front. He didn't build up CAS or AA/Fighters for China. He just moaned to the host to let him win. Same as the last video, with Dankus being forced to delete Volunteers and Tanks to stop hurting Germany.
If you aren't winning because of random Tonks, then navally invade and push them in another area. Dankus even says, he's pushing only in one area, so his tanks are all in only one area.

Hard Agree, if you don’t play creatively to actually fight for that WWII experience, you aren’t really playing the game. It’s more like play acting instead of creative combative gameplay.

@@mr__music5719 If that’s not possible then use paratroopers. Or send bombers to hunt their navy while you try to beat them elsewhere. Like, there are options, and while medium tanks are pretty difficult to beat in the early game, they’re far from impossible. ESPECIALLY as Germany.
@@davidthorp01 I'm not disagreeing, just stating that as long as France and Britain have brains you will never get naval superiority. They can just both use Strike Force and sit in their ports making them immune to bombers pretty much.

@@jakobkiilerich3588 dankus' 10w infantry would have (and did get) absolutely melted by the japanese infantry. By creating multiple fronts the japanese player could have just avoided the tanks at least in some areas. (Dankus literally said this himself too)

They are so used to the game panning out exactly the same every time that when something changes they can't figure out how to deal with it. Germany can't take France? Japan can't take China? Game dead. They're all so inflexible.

Literally all that dude had to do was naval invade and avoid the tanks. They couldn't be everywhere, even into 39, and wherever they weren't would get pushed easily. Japan absolutely could have won, it seems like he just expected a free game and didn't even bother trying to put any effort into winning.
It was solo China who lacked infantry and had no plans for a long-term game vs a co-op Japan (from what I heard). All they had to do was divide the front with a naval invasion and they could easily overwhelm Dankus. They performed one measly land offensive, ate sh*t, then threw in the towel. Like come on, you’re a NAVAL power, use it to your advantage.

There seriously needs to be some changes to the rules where as if either Germany gets held by France or japan gets held by China there should be some sort of an idea where things can carry on smooth if you get me
@@SweetBrazyN Problem is that most of the games focus trees are geared to make Germany/Japan vs the world fun. If one of them crashes and burns, thats half of games contents worthless. Its a ww2 game after all, not "Germany dead, what now?" game

@@sirundying Theres only so many ways to recreate history that allows for a fun game in multiplayer. You can play however you want in single player but in games like these ones you have to wait for late game before you flip the table. Just so everyone can have an army worth fighting.
TL;DR: Imagine playing with friends and still having friends after stomping everyone before they can have fun.

A lot of these games seem to be "for the health of the game...can you just let us win"
The thing is, Tonkus might be having a shitload of fun, but the US player and AUS and NZ players will be fucked out of a game. The latter two atleast have Africa as a target, but the US' gameplay very much requires Japan to be at the very minimum functional.
It's the same as when he fucking destroyed Germany as France, the entirety of the axis would have been cucked, as would have the soviets.

Sure he is good but the Japan player is also pretty bad, Dankus invested a lot into armor at the price of infentry, he could have done naval invasion to extend the front.
Also Japan could shuffle between fronts if he did that, while Dankus is on the main front Japan can win on the coast, while Dankus is on the coast Japan win in the main land.
This stream was hilarious how japan was crying, dankus made 8 tanks in 2 years as China, and when Dommy played hungry and went for tanks he made 1 tank in 4 years for France and had 2 for barb and calls dankus bad 🤣🤣
