Thanks for the free download pattern and tutorial. I’m a retired 65 year old nurse from New Jersey now living in Puerto Rico. I’m a newbie visual sewer. I picked up sewing as a hobby. Please remember us newbie sewers when doing tutorials. I think that watching this tutorial I can follow along and sew this cute bag. I’m going to give it a try! ❤️✂️🪡🧵
I noticed, when sewing on the zipper on first pass, I find it very helpful to start my stitching 1/2 inch from the edge, sew backward to fabric edge, then sew forward. This prevents the top layer of fabric from crawling forward and distorting the lineup of the edges. This method works great when there’s extra bulk at the end of the fabric
I'm just loving your paterns, and then I sew along with your tutorials, stop and go.....they all come out beautiful.....you definitely give such clear instructions....Thank you from South Africa....❤❤❤
Patricia, which pattern pieces are used for the large rectangle piece cut for the card slot. I don't see any that are not rounded at corners, but in instructions, Rosie says, now we take the piece we cut out for the card slot (exterior fabric) but where is this pattern piece? Help
I it the pattern and made it today. Love ❤️ it.. Thanks … I believe my measurements we a bit off on the width of the card fabric… but we back and recut it .. 🎉thanks
This is one of the VERY BEST patterns and tutorials that I have done!!! Infinite star review!!! Thank you so much for the great pattern and excellent tutorial! I can see several of these in my future and probably other Rosie and David patterns!!
wonderful video! You are a terrific teacher! And thank you for the free pattern - it is so generous of you! I am going to be making many of these! God Bless!
Thank you for another great tutorial. As with all of your video's this was so easy to follow along. Every tutorial you post you give us good instructions. Gotta add this into my large must sew folder. Happy sewing and stay safe
Where is the pattern piece for the long rectangle card slot area? I only see those with rounded corners and nothing on putting them together to form a larger piece
So thrilled to see another of your fabulous patterns. These will be great for smaller items to sell at craft fairs. Can you share where you buy the material with cotton and flax? I've done some searching and cannot find any. Thanks again.
@@RosiesArtStudio Thank you so much. I love his fabrics. Your videos are so helpful and your designs always go together perfectly. The sign of a great pattern designer.
Just finished this clutch, and it went together very nicely! The only question that I have, is why are there no written instructions? I love to watch tutorials, but I still like to have a paper copy of written instructions to refer to, and occassionally make notes.
Hello. There are some people who are not on FB and subscribe to your UTube channel (me included). Can you provide a link to your pattern in your description so that we too are able to access your pattern. Thank you
Hi... has anyone else had an issue with printing the pattern? On the third page of the pdf, the 2 inch test square is only 1 inch but the 2 inch test squares in the other pages are fine. I have the document at 100% so am not sure what I can do. Anyone else had an issue?
Page 3 is not your actual pattern pieces. If you look at the title of the page is says that it is a diagram for assembling the pattern pieces. The actual pattern pieces are on the next pages.
