Ryan always seemed like the most up and honest member of AH to me. Unlike the others, he didn't drink. He cared about his kids, he was constantly apologizing whenever he griefed Gavin or anyone in a game, ("Ryan is too nice to be a murderer"), aside from Goeff and (sometimes) Jack, Ryan seemed like the voice of reason and the most honest. God this one really, really hurts. But what he did is inexcusable. Whether or not it was a minor or not, just the betrayal of his family and kids is fucked up. All the while trying to put on this happy go lucky family man.

I feel like a bunch of people are suddenly shifting to "Ryan was just a piece of shit in disguise", which isn't accurate I believe. Ryan had a part of his personality that was... malevolent, and regardless of what terrible crimes he committed - the other parts of him weren't all that bad. Ryan was chubby and quiet in 2012. @@Jardrin He took a ton of lewd photos of himself and some of his wife while they were having sex. Whether or not she gave her consent to have these photos taken is unknown. He also took a bunch of his lewd photos in the Funhaus office, which is a big no-no for obvious reasons.

However, it was such a strange request out of nowhere that a lot of them said yes, not actually believing he’d do it. And these were women he worked with professionally, not just people he knew casually, or was in relationships with.

Looking back at it. A lot of those offhand comments he'd make really start to show that this has been a thing for a long time. I always found that Ryan was a bit creepy (and I dunno if that was intentional or not), but when the news came out, it still surprised me.

This really makes me sick. I’ve watched AH and RT for almost 10 years and he was always one I favored and looked up to. His kids, his marriage, his job, the videos he was in, even his fan interactions. Little did we all know he was a piece of shit in disguise. I hate that he ruined all that. All the good videos I loved I can never watch without feeling disgusted because he’s in them. I wish all the videos of him would be deleted already so I can rewatch everything and forget about him. I agree, but unfortunately they can't just delete everything that has him in it. He was in at least 70% of their content over the years, so they'd have to scrub most of their library to do that.

As the years rolled by, he built his very popular "crazy" personality and lost weight making himself attractive; this popularity build his ego up so much to where he wanted to be "cool" / the life of a model and wanted to sleep around with girls. Perhaps something like this.
Frankly I'm not super surprised considering people (at least the RT subreddit) were already joking about him and Meg having an affair, to mess with Gavin.

He really managed to ruin nearly an entire backlog of content. Luckily there are still some prime AH moments without him, but he’s in SO many of them. Can’t watch the Salt Raid, can’t watch most PC games before he left, battle buddies. And then the even more direct stuff like Edgar or the Mad King. So many great memories tainted by him.
The first time watching the salt raid it took me three different attempts to watch the full video. He gets so genuinely mad and controlling in that video and it was triggering my ptsd. Looking back now it's clear that that moment was when his mask slipped and his real characteristics came out
