This has been a great feature and it totally changes how I view looking at sentences along with the popularity of the words. When I was learning Japanese for 2-3 years to fluency, it was all shooting from the hip, getting a "vibe" from the word, browsing in anki saying "Did I know this one? I feel like I learned this one". Now, everything is SOOOOOO easy these new guys don't know how good they have it haha. ESPECIALLY with the AI companion in there, it really is crazy. It's making my mandarin journey so much more enjoyable.
When will we be able to manually set words to 'learning' status? In the legacy version clicking 2 would do this, but now it sets it to tracking instead. I create all my cards for anki and I can't find a way to mark new words as 'learning' like I could in the legacy version.
Very nice features. Please make more tools for Brazilian Portuguese next. Also I think using AI to generate any text you want into a graded reader, or to make dubs that are more comprehensible is a great idea.
Great video, I give it a 9 out of 10 ! To get the missing point to 10/10, you would have to explain the difference between the statuses (colored underlines ) and the words in color ( 3:21). Thank you.
They indicate the pitch accent of words in Japanese. Each language has these kinds of language specific features. For Chinese its tone coloring, or for German its gender coloring.
Hello there, big fan, long time user! Amazing job with a new extension, love it! Are you planning on introducing maybe Italian or Russian? Thank you! :)
Can the interval of known words be changed? I know 21 days is the default in Anki but it's always felt short. Also if you review and known word and are unable to recall it, does Migaku automatically revert this back to a learning status?
Sometimes when i add a new card for a word it still doesnt say "you have a card for this" so i might add this card twice by mistake. Will this be fixed in the future?
Even if it did, is there any Luxembourgish media with subtitles that's easily accessible? From what I've heard, most media from the country is in French, German, and a bit of Portuguese.
Not everyone that likes to use Migaku also likes or uses SRS, therefore I think there should have an advanced setting to enable to manually set learning words.
How does it work if you already start with N2 or N1 level of knowledge? Then you already have thousands of known words, do you have to mark them all as known?
You can copy a list of words into the extension to add as known words. You can also import from Anki. In the future there will be more robust onboarding for adding known words.

Great video team! Auto ignoring proper nouns may be a great feature as well!
Very helpful. I may be your most recent paid up member!

Italian and Russian are on our to-add-list, but no promises as to when we will get around to it.

Yes, the learning status reverts. We might add the ability to set the graduation interval to Known in the future.
Great stuff! 🚀
Love this tool! ❤

Will there be more courses for japanese in the future? Besides course 1. Thanks!
Yes, we will be releasing course 1 and 2 as well for a total of 1300 or so grammar points and nearly 5,000 vocabulary words.
Can we use the extension with less-known languages, like Luxembourgish, for example? How it would work? What are the requirements ?
Not yet. There a plants to add a "blank slate" language so you can use the extension assuming the language has spaces and you have dictionaries

You can already set words known manually~
@@MigakuOfficial Yep, but I said "learning", as in "learning status" :)
Does learning status work with words mined and used in Anki?
In a limited capacity yes
How does it work if you already start with N2 or N1 level of knowledge? Then you already have thousands of known words, do you have to mark them all as known?
You can import lists, or anki cards to your known words count.

Late but have the same issue, never used anki so im screwed.
Does Migaku teach grammar lessons for all other than Japanese sorry it’s hard to find information I want to confirm
Currently we only have courses for Japanese and Chinese, but we are working on other languages as well. Korean is the furthest along.
mogged once again
when are you guys gonna add Vietnamese?
Currently working on it
It should be added within November at the latest.
@@MigakuOfficial great when you guys add it I'll get a subscription!
@@MigakuOfficialis it almost done?
