I remember one time when I did a playthrough of Megaman IV and I fought against Pharaohman. We both took each other out, but the game still registered it as a loss and I had to fight him all over again with even less E-Tank and Weapon energy.
That was good. I always think the robot master in previous games deal no damage to new ones, and new ones will kill them with 1 shoot. Because the new ones are superior.
I can't entirely vouch for that, given how some robot masters (MM9, MM3, MM4, MM10, MM11, MM1) aren't made to fight, and some that are aren't meant to fight MEGA MAN and as a result still aren't as high up.

Both were very powerful Robot Masters, but In my opinion, the one robot that could do better at mastering the sun would be the winner, and indeed, Solar Man won, although Pharaoh Man had his hacks like teleportation and generate shields, although, shielding wasn't something exclusive for Pharaoh Man, sinse Solar Man could emulate something similar by absorbing damage and use it to power up his attacks. If you are interested to hear another suggestion from me, I think a very interesting match would be Gyro Man VS Wind Man (Both having some mastery on manipulating the Air)
@@tenguman3560 true. Much of the robot masters in MM2 have Atomic Fire as a 2nd weakness. This isn't ideal due to the charge time and energy consumption of Atomic Fire. Theoretically, 3 full charged Atomic Fires kill Quick Man but you only get 2 full charges so you need mid-no charge shots to finish.

Canonically Gyro Man and Jupiter would *HATE* eachother if they met. Gyro Man hates jet engines and Jupiter hates propellors
