My wife and I are building a 1700 sqft 1/1 “apartment” inside a 60’x75’ barn. I’m 56 years old, and it’s wearing me out, but we’re almost across the finish line..

@@KS3Revolutionary We finally finished it. We lived in a rv, that was parked inside part of the barn, while we built the “apartment”. We moved in to the apartment about two months ago, and moved the rv out of the barn, and are now trying to sell the rv. I turned the open space into my shop, and space to park my boat.
How much was the entire thing
Of all the Barndo's I have seen, this one is definitely one of my favorites. The craftsmanship, colors, and choice of materials is perfect. I am actually seeing things in this home that my wife and I have discussed for our future home. It's almost like seeing our home come to life!!! Thank you for sharing.
I love this home...I would only change out a few things for me...that little countertop bar is not called a "WET BAR " unless it has a working sink.Not into antlers,no rusted tin look .needs a bigger pantry,the closets and bath/ shower areas are GORGEOUS...That custom whiskey barrel half bath is amazing! Omg dog wash yessss! The choice to put in verticle tile in the tub is gorgeous! My hubby would looove the gun safe closet. An absolutely AMAZING home...!Thank you😍

Really liked the Construction plans but in my opinion this house is for an owner with an unique taste living in the central southern area of the U.S.... all the brown and even rebar on the stairs rail is just too overkill. great project though congrats to the new owner
I got all excited, and then quickly realized that it's more of a garagodominium than a barndominium. I wanted to see stalls, feed room, wash rack, and a formal dining room under one roof. The search for good floor plans continues...
Well all of our plans can be customized to whatever you want. We can even start from scratch. Just depends on what you want. Everything is customizable :)
What I like most are the floors. Too dark for my taste but the home owner likes it so that is all that matters.
BEAUTIFUL!!... until I saw the water on the outside covered patio area by the laundry room door along that wall. Roof leak??.. otherwise I would be interested in cloning this build on 70 acres in the Davis mountains
I wish they would say the cost. When they don't talk about the cost I always think 600k+

its beautiful,wouldnt the energy bill be very high because the shell is metal and painted dark also the open areas in the livingroom to be heated or cooled and just seems really expensive also

I like the interior, the polished concrete floors are gorgeous! However, I think the siding and the roof are not very practical for the Texas heat. I'm in Texas, our barndo is light tan with a galvanized roof.

Best one I’ve seen! It’s not too open space like all the barndominiums I’ve seen. I thought that’s the one way they could only be made. Glad they are not.
The layout and the outside are with the kitchen window serving as an excellent way to pass things to and from is excellent. We have similar thoughts! 😂

We used to live just south of Cleburne, 3 miles north of Rio Vista on a county road just off 174. CR 1110A. Moved to our retirement property outside of DeLeon in 2014.

just based on my experience, the only thing the dog wash is missing is a place to latch a lead too. I have two dogs and did something similar. Had to go back and add this. My dogs get so excited to come back in because that is treat time.

Can I see a, 5 bedroom master and inlaw on main level, with 3 big bedrooms upstairs kitchen, family room, formal dining room and main living room.
That is what would best suit our needs. Preferably over a walk out basement. With possible upgrade to exterior.
The plugs in the kitchen back splash should have been mounted underneath the cabinet.....its a super clean look and still meets code .................house looks great
You don't have any code to meet in the Texas countryside. You can do whatever you want.

On the black on black vinyl windows who is the manufacturer? Do you use a on demand hot water heater? Can you rearrange the lay outs to move the bedrooms to the rear? And can you add a bigger front and rear porch?

Please tell me the gun safe room isn't just sheetrock and studs.... Please tell me it's reinforced with at least cinderblock. People spend money on a "safe room" and just buy the door. If I'm a crook, I'm going to wait for you to not be home and then go through the wall. People spend too much money on doors and completely ignore the weakest parts of the structure.
No one ever tells how bad those polished concrete floors wear.
That is a big misnomer, there is maintenance on concrete floors, polished or stained. Great comment!
