      I agree. Voice over works well. This was the most professionally done video you will ever see. The manufacturer could have published it. Seriously.

    Quick and dirty swap. Eric O. would have needed big nasty, the torch, and a 10lb slide hammer to get that thing out! lol Thanks!

    FYI anti-seize does not prevent rust or corrosion. Its only good for bolts going into aluminum.

    • @bluekarnage1985
      @bluekarnage1985 4 года назад

      And it may actually make it stick worse if it over heats. Thats why you don't use it on your break pads.

    If you live in the "salt belt" (northeastern U.S. or Ontario/Quebec region of Canada) would strongly suggest watching one of Eric O's South Main Auto channel videos on doing this job. Can be a real nightmare to get the hub out when they've been exposed to the salt used on the roads in these areas in winter. When doing this job, it's also a good time to check your that brakes pads and sliders are still moving freely since the brakes are already dis-assembled. Good video !

    • @pinpointautomotiverepair1592
      @pinpointautomotiverepair1592  7 лет назад +1

      David Quinn, definitely agree. Working on a southern vehicle vs a northern one can make a repair go two completely directions 😂 Ill take brittle heat soaked southern vehicle plastic over northern rust any day!

    • @dylankinch2735
      @dylankinch2735 7 лет назад +1

      U aint kidding when u say it can turn into a nightmare up here real fast. Im in eric o territory "northern ny" and i have had some good fights with wheel bearings my friend. And alot of other front and rear end parts. Rust can make for a hard job. Must be nice when a few whacks with a 3 lb hammer is all u need. Love your vids man especially the diag ones. U explain things so thoroughly. I get alot out of them your a sharp tech.

      @pinpointautomotiverepair1592  7 лет назад

      I'm thankful every day I dont have to deal with rust, believe me. I think you guys up north that can deal with that stuff day in and out are unsung heroes in your own right. I'll stay down south 😅

    It just goes to show that a wheel bearing can be replaced without explosives, heavy equipment, and massive amounts of foul language!!
    And the anti seize is an insurance policy, to guarantee that you'll never see that vehicle again!! If you didn't use it, the car would have come back next month for struts, and the month after that for CV shafts!! Don't ask how I know that!!
