I just bought a Miyazawa MZ-5 headjoint with the platinum riser to go with my Yamaha 362H body and i absolutely love it! The mechanism on it is a little clunky but it still works! Hope to see them more often and have an idea on my upgrade

Carlandos Finney yes! it is absolutely wonderful! i 100% recommend this flute to anyone who wants a professional style but is still young and doesn’t wanna pay a lot of money. worth every penny :)

Great video! Have you reviewed any Sankyo flutes? I tried a lot of them when I went to this year's Midwest Clinic in Chicago. I completely fell in love with them. Their alto flutes are also VERY well made. Would definitely get one if I wasn't an oboist lol.
Trevor James makes great flutes! Speaking of the Copper Alloy alto flute, Stephen Clark now plays on that Alto flute. 😃❤️🎼🎶

Ashley D, I just traded up from a DZ 700BOF for a Trevor James Virtuoso w/ Voce and I really love it. Much easier to play than the Powell-style headjoint of the Di Zhao. Great, solid mechanism.

lol I was actually the first to try the cantabile with the voce, it arrived when I visited FCNY. It was lovely but somehow I couldn't get a low b; by the way it was incredibly heavy for a headjoint!

I was considering this flute, I have a small mouth so I appreciated your comment about not swallowing the high notes, and I have small hands (very short pinkies). I sort of thought your first review sounded a bit better though, you struggled with the very low notes. Do you know the weight of the headjoint? Can you notice it when playing?
I want to replace my Armstrong 80B, which I think has a silver body. Wol I notice a difference in sound?
Can you use a regular flute headjoint on an alto flute? (can you mix an match?)

Pronouncing the names of the flutes seems funny😂😂😂

2. Again the flutes sound great!
3. Good job on pronouncing „voce“! A bit off, you need to open up the o a little more and the e a lot more, but quite good! Also you’re putting an ey sound at end of words like voce and cantabile, which isn’t supposed to be there. It’s just a simple e sound, quite similar to the one in “bed”. But still, I’m kinda proud.

But more importantly she's an amazing flutist
dont be jealous of wood cases! They are the WORST. I have several friends who have slightly hit their cases accidentally on the wall or stands and resulted in scratches on the case. One of my friends accidentally dropped hers while it was inside a cover case and it still cracked!! My personal wooden case has several scratches and cracks when im extremely careful with it always, and its really irritating. Wood cases are the worst, trust me, and i wish that companies would just stick to standard classic cases or even the new amazing brannen cases
