On campus is better if you get at least Double sharing + AC

I don't know about Masters , but bachelor's have to be back in hostel by 10pm 1st year & 11pm 2nd year. If that doesn't suit you, sure, go for Off campus

Manipal lies along the coast, due to which their is a lot of humidity..If possible it is better to opt for a room with AC..but it again varies from person to person.
