I watch TdF coverage since the times of Hinault/Fignon/Lemond - often even live.
The stages missed are certainly less than a dozen.
At times this addiction was only fueled by the images of heavenly France.
Too many protagonists have really not been attracting to watch.
That changed the last years and certainly now - completely!
It really got the protagonists that make the fascination.
May they all stay as they are - and remain ambassadors for their wonderful sport but as well the places and people they are from!

EPO can make you do amazing things!! Forget the record times on the climbs. Focus on the numbers. When Lance was pre cancer he couldn't even do 6 watts/kg. Then he started EPO and was doing 6.2 and 6.3 watts. Then when he got with Ferrari AND Fuentes together he got close to 7 watts. Pogi won in 2020 doing 6.1 watts. Then Jonas came in and blew Pogi away in 2021 and 22. Now Pogi is doing over 7 watts. This is not possible without "outside help". People that deny this is going on are not looking at the numbers. In 1990 Indurain was doing 440 watts. By 95 he was doing 520 watts then in 96 Riis came and obliterated his numbers. I know the commentary won't talk about it cos it's "bad for the sport" but the viewers need to really pay attention to what's happening. It's another "arms race" and those of us that are paying attention and wondering how this is happening and looking at the DETAILS are not fooled

Remco had Jan Hirt up the road after he and Jonas dragged Pogi back on the last descent. At that point Jonas seemed gassed, and so Remco attacked straight away, and Pogi let him go...

Great stage but yet again a no show for the world champ. Sitting on the back or sitting out isn't showing the jersey off or respecting it.
MVDP isnt a climber what do you expect? He is also here just like last year in function for the olympics and last year it was the world championship and we saw that that worked perfectly.
