Even The name Azerbaijan is derived and Arabicized from the Persian language "Azarpadegan" which in old Persian is "atropatkan" and it means place of fire

Persia is Latin word. Change your name first, before claiming names of other countries as yours.
Secondly, what you spit here is a nonsesne from wikipedia. There isn't a single academic source, which says that Azerbaijan was derived from old persian.

The seljuk capital was Isfahan, Neishabour, Shahreri, and Hamedan which all are & were cities of Persian people . They ruled over the PERSIANS !!
According to history, the rulers of Aghquyunlu used the title of Shah of IRAN for themselves and considered themselves the heirs of the glorious kings of the myths of ancient IRAN (Fereydoun, Jamshid and Keykavous).

Iran is a country of several thousand years Iran has never been specific to any particular nation in history Many people such as Persians, Turks, Medes, etc ruled Iran
The Iranian Turks ruled Iran for about a thousand years. Qajar was an Iranian turk government Russia invaded Iran and separated present-day Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia and Turkmenistan from Iranian territory. Iran is written in the treaties of Qajar and Tsarist Russia The Turkish kings of Iran, like the Qajar and Safavid kings, introduced themselves as the kings of Iran. Nader Shah Afshar, the most powerful Muslim king in the history of Iran and the most powerful Turkish king of Iran, has declared himself the king of Greater Iran.

Armenia on the other hand used to be a sovereign country although a part of Persian empire for Melania. Azerbaijan was called Arran or Allan capital baadkoobeh (bakoo). Worzan (Achamanid empire) is what is called Georgia now. all roads ends in Persia really.

Azerbaijan is not northern Arran or Shirvan. Azerbaijan in the south of the land in the north : History of the name Azerbaijan
      m.ruclips.net/video/Rv8xCJe7W70/видео.html
      Drawn By: Georg matthaus Seutter
      Showing: 1730 A.D
North and south of the land is Azerbaijan
European authors and cartographers of the 18th and 19th centuries wrote that the territories of Azerbaijan covered a considerable part of South Caucasus, present Armenia, and also included Derbent in the north. They were confirmed also by medieval Arab and other sources. The map of the 18th century German cartographer Georg Matthäus Seutter (Fig. 2) for example shows the territory of Azerbaijan covering the vast lands of the Southern Caucasus and present day Armenia, where the Erivan khanate was situated.[7]
In another example, the British “Society for the Diffusion of Useful Knowledge” (1826-1848) published the Encyclopedia “The penny cyclopedia” in 1838, which stated that the Muslim population of Karabakh exceeded the Armenian population by a factor of 10. The source also states that the mass movement of the Muslim population from Karabakh to Iran occurred, while simultaneously, Russia encouraged Armenians to settle in Karabakh. “The population of Karabagh, according to the official returns of 1832, consisted of 13,965 Mohammedan and 1491 Armenian families, besides some Nestorian Christians and Gypsies. This limited population may be ascribed to the frequent wars which have long desolated the province, and to the emigration to Persia of many Mohammedan families since its subjection to Russia, although many Armenians were induced by the Russian government, after the peace of Toorkmanchai peace accord between Russia and Qajar state, to emigrate from Persia to Karabagh.”[9] The British Society map, drawn up in 1835 and published in 1844, (Fig. №4) depicted Azerbaijan as encompassing the current territories of the Armenian Republic.
American Map 1835 Map of South and North Azerbaijan
According to the Treaty of Turkmenchay of 1828, there are various reports on the division of Azerbaijan between the Russian and Turkic empires. An interesting source in the geography of the annexation of Azerbaijan after Russia is a map compiled by Thomas Gamaliel Bradford (1802-1887). In his book, The Comprehensive Atlas: Geography, History, and Trade (Boston, 1835), the map of Persia, Arabia, Tartar, and Afghanistan (Figure №3) shows the territories of Azerbaijan surrounding present-day Armenia and Yerevan. [8] Thomas Bradford is indeed a reliable figure. He was an academic because he was a junior editor of the Encyclopedia Americaana, the first major encyclopedia in the United States, and during his career he compiled several maps of the United States and other countries.

In modern Persian, the fire is "atesh", and in other closely related languages: Avestan: ātar-š, which turned into archaism "Azer" in New Persian. The root "at" or "from" itself has Nostratic roots and in Altai or Dravidian means the same thing.
The Türkic name "Azer" has been used on this territory for a long time. The word "Azer" consists of two parts - "az" and "er". In the Turkic languages, "az" means good intention and the fate of success.
''Baijan'' is supposedly coming from Persian word ''Badegan''. There is no "badegan" (collector) in either Persian or other ancient Iranian languages. There is also no similar root "bad" -collect. "Bad" - will be in Persian actually the wind.

@@whateverforever3037 Shah Ismayil did speak persian as well as azerbaijani, but besides being a ruler he was also a poet, and his 1400+ verses are all in azerbaijani, according to wikipedia. Alexander the Great was the ruler of anatolia and middle east, but it doesn't mean he was arabic or turkish. The fact that more than 15 millions of people in Iran (mostly northern Iran) speaks and identifies as azerbaijani, shows the historical pressure and occupation persian governments applied within many years. There's an obvious bias of the media on this part. Safavids were only succeeded by an actual persian dynasty years later - the Qajar dynasty.

Ofcourse Persia was the exonym, the endonym was Iran; a highly diverse plateau of different ethnic groups including Turks. Iran never occupied anyone as any area ever conquered by Iranian dynasties was formally integrated and the people had equal rights. Plus Turks migrated from Iran to the caucasus in the 11th century, not the other way around. Ethnic nationalism is an idiotic ideology made up by racists to justify their ignorance.

@@whateverforever3037 Turks, based on the phrase “Khatai became a speaker; he became a pir of Turkestan”. Undoubtedly, Shah Ismail Khatai belongs to the Turkic population of Azerbaijan, and the Safavid Gizilbash state, which he proclaimed in the center of the Azerbaijani throne in Tabriz, was also the Azerbaijani state. By replacing the Aghgoyunlu dynasty, the Safavids opened a new page in the history of Azerbaijani statehood. It is completely wrong to consider the Safavid state as a Persian state.
Public administration, the tribes involved in the establishment of the state and the development of the Turkic language in the palace prove that the Safavid dynasty was an Azerbaijani state. Among the sources proving that the Safavid dynasty was the state of Azerbaijan, the works "Tarikh-i alamara-ye Ismail" and "Tarikh-i alamara-ye Safavi" written by an anonymous author have an important place.

Azerbaijan has nothing common with Caucasian Albania. The ancient Greek historian Strabo described the inhabitants of Caucasian Albania as tall, gray-eyed and fair-haired - this is very similar to the Caucasian type, there are the modern peoples of Dagestan, while the Azerbaijanis are low and dark - this is the Caspian type. And besides, the official language of Caucasian Albania - Aghvan is related to the Lezgi languages. And in the Lezgi village of Kurush, the Agvan script was used until the 10th century, until it was supplanted by the Arabic script. We know this because archaeologists have found there a stone with Agvan and Arabic letters. Unfortunately, scientific articles about this find are only in Russian.

During the Qajar era, that region was separated from Iran and fell into the hands of the Russians. Later, World War I began. The Ottomans were losing, so their last way to survive was to rely on their Thrkic identity and other peoples of the Caucasus and Central Asia. One of the most prominent of these guys was Ismail Enver Pasha, the general of the Ottoman army. He tried to strengthen his position in the Caucasus. In those years, the Qajar government was at the peak of weakness and could only see the events. Russians and Ottomans clashed in the Caucasus region. And they had progress in Iran. (Tabriz). Finally, the Ottomans advanced and took Baku. Then a democratic country was established, but the leaders of this country in the South Caucasus chose a name for it that was not for that region. The name of Azerbaijan. In Persian, Turkish, French, German, Russian, etc. maps, no name of Azerbaijan can be found in that region before 1918. Because the real Azerbaijan is located in the northwest of today's Iran. This area was always called Aran or Arran in maps. Even Mohammad Amin Rasulzadeh, the leader of the Democratic Republic of Azerbaijan, himself admitted that Azerbaijan was a region centered on the city of Tabriz. Not Baku. The Iranian government, which could not do anything about this name change, could only send a letter of protest to the Ottoman government and request that the name be changed. But nothing was done. Later, during the Soviet era, Moscow created a nation for its non-Russian territories and tried to take over Iran's Azerbaijan, but failed. Now their government easily steals our history, spreads hatred, if they can, they destroy the Persian culture in their region and if they can't, they try to introduce that culture in their own name. They see themselves as the lucky part of the North who are tasked with liberating the South, but historically this is clearly not the case. Their actions are very hateful for us Iranians. It is for these reasons that for Iranian nationalists, this country is deeply unlovable and is a center for spreading hatred against Iran.

@floop Turks, based on the phrase “Khatai became a speaker; he became a pir of Turkestan”.

Safavid was a turkic(Azerbaijani) dynasty as they were talking in turkic and turkic were used in court and military as well. Ismail I also wrote poems in turkic. Safavids is only an example. They were other empires such as KaraKoyunlu AqQoyunlu, Atabeks and etc.
In a nutshell, Iran were under the rule of turkic emperors after the Seljuks’ invasion.

The Safavid dynasty had its origin in the Safavid order of Sufism, which was established in the city of Ardabil in the Azerbaijan region. It was an Iranian dynasty of Kurdish origin but during their rule they intermarried with Turkoman, Georgian, Circassian and Pontic dignitaries. 😂😂The history of Coca Cola is older then your fake zionist controlled country 😂😂😂. Your fake country was established 1918 and you stole the name Azerbaijan from 🇮🇷 🇮🇷 🇮🇷 its a Persian zorohastian name mening protected buy Fire 🔥 Iranian Azerbaijan is the land originally and historically called Azerbaijan; the Azerbaijani-populated Republic of Azerbaijan appropriated the name of the neighbouring Azerbaijani-populated region in Iran during the 20th century.Historic Azerbaijan was called Atropatene in antiquity and Aturpatakan in the pre-Islamic Middle Ages. Some people refer to Iranian Azerbaijan as South (or Southern) Azerbaijan and the Republic of Azerbaijan as Northern Azerbaijan,
although others believe that these terms are irredentist and politically motivated. The world knows the truth keep on trying to steal Iranian history you have no history hahaha 🤢🤮 on your lying face. Please your brain is in a nutshell 😂😘

@Ariyan Eighty What you mean you’re not close to Seljuks lol? We are the Seljuks, we talk oghuz-turkic as they did. And after 11th century originally-turkic emperors ruled Caucasia, Azerbaijan, East Anatolia, Iran and etc. one after another. Azerbaijan name was always there, but in our geography the name of countries were named after Dynasties like Seljuks, AqQoyunlu, KaraKoyunlu, Safavids and etc. For example until 20th century there was no Turkey, it was called Ottomans. Does it mean there were no turkish people before ? Of course not! It’s the same with Azerbaijan.
And I think it’s also normal to have persian names, as persians also have arabic names. They all influenced each other in this region. And persians were good at making symbols (sun and lion you mentioned), writing law and etc, while turkic people were good fighters and that’s why turkic was the language in the army, while persian is used in the court and etc.
Moreover, probably you know it as well, Ismail 1st wrote a lot of poems in Azerbaijani-turkic. Even they were written 500 years ago I can still understand them, you persians guys can not.
In a nutsell, after 11th century when turks conquered Persia, Middle East and Anatolia they made great empires together with persians. Both nations contributed these empires in the different ways.

hhh another idiot baku guy again
The entire Azerbaijan region of Iran has 8.8 mil population not 38 mil first According to cia fact book Azeris make up 16% of Iranian population while Persians are 61% If you do a calculator of 16% based by Present Iran population 15mil is your answer this obvioulsy means that Azeris are scattered in Iran also since only half live in Iranian Azerbaijan region
Also true is correct in english grammer not trough
Azerbaijan has NEVER been under Iranian gov occupation because it had always been Iran just like other regions was like Khorasan Tabarestan etc AND Iranian Azeris see themselves as Iranians. The truth is no matter you like it or not you were Iranian too until Russians (And now you became a nationalist idiot like other baku ppl) and dont lie even your so called National poet Nizami Ganjavi considered himself Iranian and mentioned Iran in poem of Haft peykar. in fact after fall of ussr you Baku ppl themselves tried to join Iran again!
Russia later on also tried annexing Iranian Azerbaijan into its territory fun fact for you! But Iranian Azeris resisted them with ppl like Sattar khan and Bagher khan. Also in Iraq Iran war they had lots of martyrses like Bakeri and most ppl dont think like you Baku guy wants and I know cause I have 2 Iranian Azeri relatives (Since Intermarriage between Persian Azeri and others are common here) one from Zanjan another Tabriz Zanjani guy was clueless and didnt even know South Azerbaijan is a thing and his pfp is Iran pahlavi flag for example
