Don't Just Change The Run Capacitor (Read Description)

HVAC Techs - We have all been guilty of this at one time or another, whether we admit it or not.
In this video, I find a great example of exactly why you should never just replace the run capacitor without at least briefly evaluating the entire system. (Even just a visual inspection)
This builds value in your company and you may be able to find the true cause of a failure (Example: Bad compressor and a quick check finds an oil trap in the refrigerant lines in the attic.) Not only that, but you may have a call like this one where you find a completely unrelated issue that is just waiting to cause a problem in the very near future.
