Basically what I thought. & I'm from the states. This game is going to be free to play, but seems micro transactions for furniture & cosmetics (oof). I really want to like & enjoy this game, I'm just not sold on "early access" paid for items. But the items & cosmetics do look nice, just not for me.

When you compare what you’re getting in early access to what you would get when the game releases there’s really not much of a difference. So it begs the question of why even bother getting early access, when I can wait a few months and essentially get the same thing for free? Not trying to bad talk the game, still want to try it when it comes out, but I feel like I need more of a reason to blow $70 on a game other than just cosmetics.

Up for the Ultimate Pack. Having an animal companion would resemble the Palace Pets of the Disney Princesses, the Puffles of the late Club Penguin and all the Pokemon from the title anime franchise.
Just as a warning, I think the news reports a few months ago about the microtransactions being minimal was a lie. I just realized this is made by Gameloft. The same Gameloft that is torturing their Disney Magic Kingdoms players. A $20 season pass was just added this season where most of the players won't even make it to the end and has prizes that are barely worth it. $9.99+ per Disney character, not to mention the in-game currency which is priced similarly to every other mobile game. Forces you to buy in game "event" currency by overcharging on all the unlockables so it's impossible to earn without it. It's never ending. Just wanted people to know if you are having any doubts.

I just worry if you get the ultimate pack will the quality of the game diminish? If you have all the items what’s the fun in playing the game besides the story? So I think most of the stuff that you get in the pack is just cosmetic and extra, nothing really gameplay related, so it shouldn't affect the quality of the game. If I remember correctly though, I believe the items in the founder pack are exclusive to early access. So if you don't get them, you've lost your chance to get them for good. The price is really steep and how they've explained Early Access is a little confusing. Early Access starts on September 6th and if you buy and play the game within that first week (September 6th - September 12th/13th), you get more exclusive items I believe, the donut ears and crocodile pet. However, they do mention in the post that's on their website that there will be multiple free updates during the early access period, which is September 6th to whenever they release the game in 2023, but it's unclear whether those updates are only free for those with Early access or if they'll be free for everyone upon release of the full game as well. Exclusive items are nice and everything, but if what we're being shown is ALL that's exclusive to early access, then I don't think it's worth the $70.

@@skyneko136 From what I understand, after doing some digging of my own, is that these packs will be available on release day on all platforms just no preorders on PlayStation and Steam. Cross-play won't be made available until after the game has been made free to play and if you want to cross platform now you have to pay on all devices you want it on. I just wanted to be sure I can get the version I wanted on the console I wanted...I just have to wait till release day.
It’s kind of weird saying the game is free to play but charging people to pay in advance before the game is out when really it’s probably ready to be sold as is. It’s a marketing strategy and people are eating it up
I think you might be in the same boat as people who want to play the game on Steam, which is you can’t pre-order on those platforms. You’re just gonna have to wait until September 6 to buy it out right. Thankfully there’s no extra benefit to pre-ordering verses buying the game on early access launch.

@@skyneko136 I don’t know if the original email to them was about pre-ordering on PlayStation, but it has been confirmed that if you buy the game on PlayStation you don’t get access to cross-platforming, that is to say your save data on your PlayStation cannot be transferred to other devices and vice versa. That data will only be available on your PlayStation and if you try to play the game on any other device, you’d basically be starting a new game with a new account is my guess. Why only PlayStation can’t do the cross platforming? I have no idea. Maybe something to do with cloud data and how it gets saved.

You would probably have a better time and get a faster reply if you joined the discord channel. I’ve asked questions about the game there and people were very active, honest, and quick to reply.
The FAQs say it won't initially during early access, but once it goes free-to-play in 2023 then your progress and items will sync across all platforms.
As much as i Understand there will be some some clothing funiture and Charakters Cost moonstones wich you can Buy with Real Money or You can get from playing But i think it will take Time

According to the FAQs it'll be cross-platform once it goes free-to-play in 2023. Initially in early access it's locked to the platform of purchase.

Just read on IG that users of PS & Steam have to wait until September 6th. No reason given why.
@@skyneko136 From what I understand, after doing some digging of my own, is that these packs will be available on release day on all platforms just no preorders on PlayStation and Steam. Cross-play won't be made available until after the game has been made free to play and if you want to cross platform now you have to pay on all devices you want it on. I just wanted to be sure I can get the version I wanted on the console I wanted...I just have to wait till release day.
It’s kind of weird saying the game is free to play but charging people to pay in advance before the game is out when really it’s probably ready to be sold as is. It’s a marketing strategy and people are eating it up

I think you might be in the same boat as people who want to play the game on Steam, which is you can’t pre-order on those platforms. You’re just gonna have to wait until September 6 to buy it out right. Thankfully there’s no extra benefit to pre-ordering verses buying the game on early access launch.

The game, Founder’s Pack Edition cosmetic items and purchased items are cross-save compatible on all platforms, except for PlayStation consoles. @@skyneko136 I don’t know if the original email to them was about pre-ordering on PlayStation, but it has been confirmed that if you buy the game on PlayStation you don’t get access to cross-platforming, that is to say your save data on your PlayStation cannot be transferred to other devices and vice versa. That data will only be available on your PlayStation and if you try to play the game on any other device, you’d basically be starting a new game with a new account is my guess.
Why only PlayStation can’t do the cross platforming? I have no idea. Maybe something to do with cloud data and how it gets saved.

@@skyneko136 yeah, either “Helen” didn’t actually read your email and got confused, or she sent you a generic email, which I hate to say, GameLoft’s communication is notorious for being shotty. You would probably have a better time and get a faster reply if you joined the discord channel. I’ve asked questions about the game there and people were very active, honest, and quick to reply.
Does Anyone Know. If In the Ultimate Edition do you also get the moonstones from the first 2 editions? Like the 20000+ 14000+ 8000? Or just 20000?

Does anyone know if save data is transferable between systems? I'm torn between the Switch and the Microsoft store.
The FAQs say it won't initially during early access, but once it goes free-to-play in 2023 then your progress and items will sync across all platforms.

As much as i Understand there will be some some clothing funiture and Charakters Cost moonstones wich you can Buy with Real Money or You can get from playing But i think it will take Time
