You are my boxer's favorite reacter to this. She loves opera and this is her favorite piece. She runs into the room whenever I play it and gets so annoyed when the reacters stop to talk. She is quite pleased you let it play through. And yes, I'm talking about my dog. She has very good taste!
"the neverender" Thats YOU. Thats the greatest part of you. You never surrender, you are a man with great gifts and potential, a man who's winning the battle of the mind and soul.
I was lucky enough to see him (and Jose Carreras) live. Your reaction is so genuine, so heartfelt, it reminds me of when I saw La Bohème(with Pavarotti) on tv, unexpectedly, some forty years ago and I was as blown away as you are. I mean, how was I to know people could sing this way 😊❤️
you just witnessed probably the greatest tenor ever to have lived. my goosebumps get goosebumps when listening to pavarotti. anybody that doesn't react like this when hearing him has no soul
He sang his aria at the opening ceremony of the 2006 Winter Olympics. It was his final public performance. He passed away in 2007, of pancreatic cancer, at the age of 71. He was "The King of the High C".
Pavarotti was obviously a great singer, but he was also a great philanthropist. He did charity concerts throughout his entire life, doing duets with James Brown, Tracy Chapman, Celine Dion, U2, Bryan Adams, Sting, etc, all to raise money for charity, especially for kids caught up in war zones. His duet with James Brown "It's A Man's Man's World" will knock your socks off.
You mention philanthropy...I heard recently about Domingo's silent kindness to Carreras, when latter was very ill and had to travel weekly abroad for treatment. Hugely expensive, so Carreras applied to a newly established fund for musicians who needed financial help. What he didn't know at the time was that Domingo had set up the fund specifically to help Carreras. The two had not been friends, because of where they both came from. When Carreras discovered Domingo's kindness, he publicly embraced and thanked him during a concert. Friends and colleagues since.
I loved him! I sang opera for many years. I actually performed in this opera for the AZ Opera Co. way back in about 1990. I was part of the women's sextet at the beginning of the 2nd act. I had the flu at the time and a temp of 104. But, the show must go on...
This is my favorite opera song & I get emotional every time I watch this! 🥹 VINCERO - “I will be victorious” is the concluding cry of Nessum Dorma. 💪🥇 May I recommend Brian May (Queen) featuring Pavarotti performing TOO MUCH LOVE WILL KILL YOU live in Italy. 🇮🇹
Sir, I give my respects towards Your respect for 'Nessun Dorma' from Luciano Pavarotti. You were só respectfull to leave the whole song unbroken with own interpretations. LP will be singinging for you when you go. And You will feel it. To You is heaven when Your time is up. You are blessed. Love.
watch more Luciano!! he was the BEST of all time....certainly, unequaled in our lifetimes there are more clips of his most famous --- Ave Maria, clips of his star shining in other operas, younger/older versions as he has aged. watch more. your life will be enhanced.
That voice is the result of seven years of formal vocal training and decades of practicing his craft to perfect his control as well as projecting the emotion a role demands. As for the goosebumps (known as 'skin orgasm'), were it Pavarotti's voice alone, your reaction might not be as strong. That's not to take anything away from his superb voice, but Puccini's music--beneath his voice--the yearning and longing in the chord structure provoke that 'goosebump' reaction in the listener. When the voice and the orchestral parts combine, the result is about as powerful as music can achieve.
WOW! Gotta love Pavarotti. You should also check out Laura Fabian - she will make you shiver and even shed a tear! I highly recommend the live versions of "Je Suis Malade" and "Caruso."
Fun fact: In Puccini's original score that last note (you know, that one Pav is holding for like 30 seconds) is just a plain 1/16th and that's it. So, technically, he is not signing it "correctly" (obviously no opera singer ever does), but I am _pretty_ sure Puccini would have approved it. 😃
who cares ;) Puccini has not finished this opera. Someone else finished this last part after Puccini's death. And i am sure Puccini would appreciate Luciano Pavarotti. :-) He helped finished the work !
the words are exquisit too - watch it with subtitles. it supports the goosebumbs. it is not just love. it is a fight of life and death because each applicant to marry turandot had to solve 3 riddles and if not would die. he has solved them but still turandot would not want to mary him... so the story still goes on a little. and he commands that no one will sleep and the stars should set. etc. and he expresses his determination to win against all the demons. and this climax is on the word: vincera - i will win. at dawn i will win.
Listen to Jonathan Antoine singing "Nessun Dorma " or " Unchaind Melody " or what ever you like of him❤ . He is the new and future Generation of Tenores❤
It's Lu CHI ano. Your reaction isd exaggerated but, no worries, it's fair dinkum, I'd have watched Pavarotti hundreds of times and he still amazes me. Hint: He'd have trained for years to get to that level of excellence, it's a technique, it's almost a University degree to learn it.
Some say Pavarotti is the King, I'd say there are MANY KINGS, listen to Domingo a contemporary of Pavarotti with his party piece ruclips.net/video/jc_24Ya5Y4E/видео.html or the sublime MARIO LANZA - ruclips.net/video/rRhmogBs-gU/видео.html some would say Bjorling tops these three, it's all a matter of personal preference, I prefer Domingo but all are magnificent singers. Opera is also about acting not just ARIA singing, for me Domingos shines in that respect

Thank you for letting it play and not interrupting. I loved your reaction. His performance is so visceral.
Well said....I agree!
Makes me teary and I get goosebumps all over every time I watch these reactions! 💜
Welcome to opera ,the best tenor of our time.RIP Luciano.
OMG best reaction to dear Luciano! And thank you not interrupting it like so many do stopping the flow of emotions ❤
You just experienced the greatest tenor of all time.
Plácido was better
I think Jussi Bjorling was better. So did Pavarotti.
He had such a powerful voice, i get chills everytime i hear him sing
HE WAS AN AMAZING SINGER WITH A VOICE THAT WAS SO POWERFUL.
Pavarotti always made it seem so effortless. He was incredible!!
The look on your face when Pav starts to ramp it up..is priceless !
When the penny drops, and he realises what Luciano's about to do...a priceless look. Visceral. Perfect.
My RUclips hobby is monitoring the height of the eyebrow raise on the final Vincero. Congratulations, you made the top five!
hahaha thank you
I didn't think his eyebrows could get higher from the beginning, but they kept going up and up!
"Beyond this world".
Really good reaction.
Thank you.
Thank you too!
Love the enthusiasm, my friend. I think you felt that one in your soul.

Beautiful voice with fog horn quality.
I once met an italian with a drum chest. When he did the tenor thing at me i had a tinnitus for some time.
Thank you sincerely for your reaction video. Much respect to you :-)

Great reaction bud ❤
Pavarotti is the gold standard- everyone else is everyone else.
Your face said all that can be said!
The day he died, I sat listening to this over and over, crying my eyes out. We’ll never hear his like again.

You need to check out Pavarotti and James Brown together singing it's a man's world... it's incredible.
This reaction is awesome, you got it
Beyond greatness, he seems to access the holy spirit !
The whole opera can be seen through metropan upper company in movie theaters across the country this wednesday

Sheer Class!!
Heaven
I can't believe that it has been 40 years since 1994... I'm so old...it seems like yesterday.
30, not 40.
If God existed and had a voice he would sound like Luciano Pavarotti

GOAT Male singer😊

To hear him is to REQUIRE more. Many thought he was overweight. Not so .... he carried an entire orchestra and chorus within his body.
The Three Tenors are all great together as well! Check them out soon 💖
Enjoy more!
Don’t forget to give some credit to Puccini the genius that composed this opera and many more
Fun fact: In Puccini's original score that last note (you know, that one Pav is holding for like 30 seconds) is just a plain 1/16th and that's it. So, technically, he is not signing it "correctly" (obviously no opera singer ever does), but I am _pretty_ sure Puccini would have approved it. 😃

Now do Nessun Dorma by metal singer Dan Vasc. 😉
💯 agree! For a metal singer with classical training he is phenomenal. This Aria is incredibly difficult to sing and Dan nails it!
Superhuman ...No Way.......
And people wonder why I became a Classical musician. 😂😂😂

Not 'Noone must sleep', but 'let no-one sleep'. No subjunctive in English...
🥰👍
Hello, you have to react to Freddie Mercury and Montserrat Caballé. HUGS!!!!!!!!!!!!
👍🇮🇹👍😁😁😁👋🏽
I love Pavarotti! He brought opera back to the common man,- AND, here is Pavarotti & Stevie Wonder: ruclips.net/video/A5ibcIWLGFc/видео.html
