    I hope you have the budget to rip open that subflooring, make it deeper and level. My subfloor is uneven, shallow parts, deep parts. Wasted opportunity because evert other house in my neighboorhood has a basement and they dig half one up that i'm too tall and fat to access myself and do mateince.

      If the house is outside city limits he may not need permits. That is how things work in Texas. Rural = no permits needed.

    WHY????? THAT is NOT worth $75,000. That is a complete tear down. I wouldn't waste one CENT on it.

      @@TomHarr I recently sold TWO very nice houses in Arkansas (one with nice furnishings) for that amount. I lived in Bayonne NJ at one time so don't know WHY anyone chooses to live in the NY-NJ area with those house prices!! To each his own I suppose.
