    Amazing turnaround with this comparison video! I was torn between the two but ended up going with the GS66 because of the webcam. The ability to hop onto a videoconference at anytime is important in a post COVID-19 world.

      but you can use your phone as a webcam...and itll be much better quality than the laptops camera..

    • @WildcardHB
      @WildcardHB 4 года назад +12

      ChristianParkNews For very quick meetings, yes, that makes sense. But there are many scenarios where using your phone doesn’t make sense or can appear unprofessional. My work often has me in meetings for 2-3 hours at a time.

    • @nunnil1655
      @nunnil1655 4 года назад +1

      @@WildcardHB exactly, I agree. Having it on your laptop means you can control everything better instead of switching between phone and laptop.

    • @ChristianParkNews
      @ChristianParkNews 4 года назад +1

      @@WildcardHB no, what i meant was that you can literally connect your phones camera to your laptop and have zoom or google meets connect through your phone's camera. Of course you'd have to buy a tripod to set your phone nicely but the quality of your phones camera will destroy any laptops webcam.
      I use ivcam through my phone and connect it to my pc. you should check it out on youtube videos. I also have an external microphone which just blows laptop microphones out of the water. obviously if you dont want to go through all the hassle and you dont really need it then whatever, but i also have super important meetings online 4-5 times a week and i invested in getting superior video and audio products because we're probably in this for the long haul.
      im just saying there are other options out there!

    • @prathamdave5849
      @prathamdave5849 4 года назад +2

      @@ChristianParkNews Yeah the laptop webcam is mostly a gimmick and you also have a sense of security without the cam facing you if you are bothered or distressed with it facing you. Phones are OP tho.

    Got the MSI GS66 some days ago and you can really optimize the sound quality by changing the settings in the nahimic software (takes some time to figure out the best settings)! The speakers are not the best, but way better than with standard settings like in this review.

      The msi comes with an extra USB-C port and has a better keyboard. I also love the all black look.
      The m15's build quality is so so so good though. Its almost in the Ultrabook category of laptop with how slim and compact it is.

    I have the Asus ROG Zephyrus M 15, but mine is the Zephyrus M 15 with the 144hz, I-7 9750h cpu, RTX 2060.
    In Call Of Duty: MW; Warzone, I average roughly 120fps on high settings using the turbo mode.
    In the same game, using turbo mode, in ultra settings, I get an average of roughly 110 fps.
    Now it does get super hot, but I had a laptop fan I bought months before I bought the M 15, for another laptop I have and use it on the M 15. It barley even gets warm now, let alone extremely hot and still getting the same average fps.

I dropped $1700 on it expecting it to be great.... I have issues logging off when I get a blank screen and nothing will happen until I hold down the power button. As always, very clean and concise review! Love how you're unbiased and look at essential features we'd need to know. On the M15, can the graphics card be upgraded (RTX 2060 base to a higher level one)? Thanks!

      Thank you 😊 But you can't really upgrade your GPU in any recent laptop iirc. Maybe an exception here or there, but usually not.

      I honestly don't know a wireless headset that sells for under 50$ that I'd recommend. Unless it's something on a discount. I know Corsair Void / HS70's sometimes drop to 60 EUR or so here, but that's pretty situational.

    Do you know when the 1660Ti 240Hz version will come out? None of the new Zephyrus M versions are available on Amazon, but Zephyrus M 2070Mq 240Hz, 2060 4K, 1660Ti 144Hz are available on best buy. I'm looking for the 1660Ti 240Hz one.

      The problem is that every local Asus office buys their own selection, so it's almost impossible to find out which regions get which models, let alone when. I usually ask, but 99/100x can't find out specifics about regions other than my own (Holland)

      @@TechTesters Thanks for the reply 👍, I'll buy it as soon as it's available on Amazon. But I'm exhausted as I've been waiting 3 months for it, I originally ordered the 2019 version, and cancelled it as the 2020 one got on the asus site.

    What about the display?
    I'm going crazy comparing the creator 15 and the gs66
    If I understand correctly, the "gs66 10se 616es" (Spanish version) has i7, rtx 2060, fhd, 240hz and it's relatively good with color accuracy.
    The creator 15 on other hand "a10SD 276 es" has i7, 1660ti, fhd, 144hz and the color accuracy is similar.
    So between the two I was thinking that it's better the gs66
    I know I could go with the creator15 and a 2060 but, correct me if I'am wrong, they only have 60hz, so...
    And I know that for creators the best is a 4k pannel but I like gamming too and 60hz seem low...
    I usually edit 4k video but I prefer fhd monitor cause I only use one, so 4k seems too much. I don't care about the touch pannel feature either
    Are any more differences besides the fingerprint touchpad and the sd card slot/usb type a?
    What do you think? Thanks!!

      If you don't care about the touch display, that gs66 sounds better to me.
