  • The famous Goldenpass MOB rail line via Gstaad to Zweisimmen captured in 1958 contrasts with the MVR rack route to Rochers de Naye in 1981. Both originate in Montreux on the north east bank of Lake Geneva, Switzerland, affording views of mountain scenery, efficient Montreux Berner Oberland Bahn train operations, French speaking Swiss provincial life & beyond, röstigraben, to German speaking cantons.
Original 8mm cine film with Paul Russenberger's 1999 narration. Compare this journey with contemporary driver insights during an MOB cab ride in 2000 including the mainline & Lenk branch. GoldenPass now offer a through scenic service www.theguardia...
