The Japanese one is already perfect since it's Makiko Ohmoto, who has been voicing Kirby since Super Smash Bros. Kirby already speaks in other media like mangas, novels and a CD Drama (Voiced by Taeko Kawata. You should listen to it on RUclips, it's really cute.)

I think it's interesting that Kirby seems to be most coherent when speaking English, and his Japanese sounds more babyish (barring some exceptions). I guess the idea is that, alongside being a little kid his native language is wildly different from whatever language they speak in Dreamland and he's still learning?
Possibly but his english could also be less babyish simply due to english not being the voice actor’s native language. A jp voice actor giving Kirby english lines is a feat in itself, and adding a babyish quality to the lines would take further understanding of the language and a better understanding of english pronunciation.

I'm actually shocked 4Kids even let that part slide for the English dub. They left an almost-knife-murder in, but in another episode airbrushed a letter off a character's shirt for no reason at all lol
