As a Bengals fan. I knew Sutton was a dawg in the league, but man was he impressive as hell with the Spectacular Highlights Catches he had all throughout the season. Salute to him, may need to draft him next year in fantasy. The fact that he was a captain too, is real af.
CS14 has always been a beast with the contested balls (when healthy) but to watch how he has progressed as a route runner since we got Jeudy is something special. Him and PS2 make it so you almost have to get the All 22 footage to truly get the most out of these Broncos games
These highlights make it even more clear that we failed by design. Every single time Russ excelled and had a connection with Sutton, it was out of shotgun. Payton didn't want Russ to succeed which is why he was so dedicated to a run game that wasn't working or throwing from under center.
Hey Paton/Payton/Penner do NOT EVEN THINK about trading Sutton!!!!! HIs hands and feet are easily the best on the team, if not in the entire NFL. The pass from Wilson to Sutton vs Buffalo this season was one of the best of all Denver Broncos plays ever.
So looking like Bo Nix Javonte Williams Samaje Perine Audric Estimè Jaleel McLaughlin Courtland Sutton Marvin Mims Josh Reynolds Tim Patrick Troy Franklin Brandon Johnson Adam Trautman Greg Dulcich Lucas Krull Garrett Bolles Ben Powers Alex Forsyth Quinn Meinerz Mike McGlinchy Honestly, on paper, not a terrible group. Receivers def a huge question mark after Courtland Sutton; Marvin Mims needs to take a huge jump this year hopefully being All-Pro as a returner gave him really good experience as a rookie in terms of NFL speed and can advance his development as a WR; Josh Reynolds is a reliable WR3 with WR2 upside but nothing more. Tim Patrick we can't really rely on due to injury history last 2 years. Troy Franklin has upside but needs work still as a route runner and timing. Tight End position needs work but if Dulcich can finally stay healthy we'll see. Offensive line I really like, healthy and continuity. Russ took a lot of sacks on his own, overall the OLine is really solid. Javonte hopefully bounces back after a full year under his belt from ACL, but Estime could easily take over.
What comes to mind while watching this isn’t how crazy of a beast Sutton is, it’s why did Russ put him in so many near impossible situations? But man Sutton can be a monster sometimes. Edit: I’m not replying to individuals because I can clear it up easy, Russ had 2 of the most improbable catches this year, one was like 3% and the other was like 6-7% according to next gen stats. You shouldn’t be throwing the ball if the odds of a catch is that slim, you risk an int for sub 5% catch odds. I agree in giving the WR’s chances to make plays, but with those odds it’s more risky than not. I’m happy we had the Sutton to make the catches but that doesn’t take away the risk.
If the ball can be caught, a good receiver is suppose to be able to catch it. That's how good receivers become great receivers. Every ball won't be perfect.
Every single NFL QB is taught to just give the wr a chance when he throws the ball. That's exactly what Russ did.idk what your thinking. No matter what Russ gave him a chance to get the ball
Alex Highsmith just had his contract reworked to free cap space for Pittsburgh. Getting a sneaky feeling they're going to pull some sort of trade for Sutton during the draft.
Who's here as a Steelers fan after seeing the supposed trade tomorrow

Imagine if Tim Patrick was healthy this season!
Really hoping he's able to play next season and we don't cut him.
I say #1 contested catching WR
One of the few bright spots on the team.

none of those passes were impossible they were literally all on the money...

The line performance was consistently bad that's my very first thought watching theese videos
Better hands than Diggs.... just sayin...
Not a better receiver though.
Coleman looks to have better hands than both.... and he's bigger than Diggs too..
#BILLSMAFIA
#BILLS4LIFE
Give Me Sutton Over Aiyuk , I Personally Think He’s Better Plus He Already Has Chemistry With Wilson!😤
