Thanks! Great review! We had the same problem with I-Klip and the mount around the ball wears out after a while. We‘re on our second one. We’re going to try the Peak model.
I would love to purchase this holder. I have had 3 or 4 for my IPad Pro and definitely not secure….i almost lost it recently…the knob stripped while I was performing and my iPad fell to one side. Phew!!
Thanks so much! I needed someone to help me find a holder for my iPad Pro 12.9 inch that would also accommodate a case like yours. You were the only one to do that. Thanks again!
Been searching for a very well made iPad Pro holder. Thanks for the review, all the info and for the discount code. Ordered a pair! Will post updates once received. Thanks again.
You're a find, a person after my heart, who understands my precise requirements and follows an almost identical train of thought!☺️ Thank you for the brilliant upload! I was curious to know if you have ever tried out the iklip 3, a newer version of the product you had... Peak's product isn't available in India, so I need to see if anyone can bring it during a visit. However the iKlip 3 model is available. I wanted to know for my 11" iPad Pro 4th generation, if that product allows a vertical mounting by the expandable bracket? Since I use my iPad vertically, I'm more comfortable if the bracket allows expansion vertically, rather than horizontal. (Vertical height of my iPad is exactly 10", with a slim back cover). In case you have tried out the iKlip 3 and you're aware of this requirement, I'd be grateful for your feedback, thanks 🙏
Is it available to buy in the UK ? Went on Amazon Uk but they only had the stand with holder. Thanks for all of your videos, they are so helpful and enjoyable.
It looks like a great mount, but I wonder if the low profile means there’s a limited range of angles once the tablet is attached? Looks like I wouldn’t be able to tilt it very much because the top of the tablet would hit the column of the mic stand. Do you find that at all?
Donna, your video was most helpful in my making a decision about what device holder to use for my new iPad Pro. I have one question which I have emailed to Peak. You may know the answer. I do not have a mic stand but I have two regular Peak music stands. I want to be sure that the device holder usually attaches to those. If I buy from Peak, I will definitely use your discount code. Thanks so much. Mari, Violinist/violist.
Thanks for the great review. Was thinking of going with the iKlip but reading some reviews and watching your video I can see the Peak product may be the way to go.
Thanks Donna, great video, I've been looking for an iPad Pro holder, do you think this will work with 12.9 inch iPad? Also, wondering if I can source this in the UK? Thanks 😎
I am interested in the tablet holder that you are promoting but it is lacking dimensions. I have a tablet that measures 5"x 8. 5" and i need to know from one side only both the outer width of the the claws and inside width between the claws that grip the tablet. Since the unit will not grip a five inch width i will have to grip it from the top and bottom most narrow ends. I hope this makes sense.
Thank you Donna ! I bought an I Klip 3 and my iPad Pro kept slipping out . I ordered the peak and it's perfect ! And got the discount . I wasn't expecting to get a mic stand with it too ! And much more inexpensive than the I Klip . Thank you !
Have a Samsung A8 Tab 10.5 I see you had your case on the mount, thats what I'm looking for I always keep mine in a case and looks like this one would be wide enough to do that?
Can I attach holder to a Peak portable music stand or do I need to buy a separate mic stand? Are there any images of holder being attached to a Peak collapsible stand? Is it recommended to remove iPad from case it's already in? I feel like the holder will damage my iPad Pro Zugu case eventually?
You can attach the Holder to any cylindrical pole - the only thing is though that if you want to attach it to the Peak portable music stand , it would go underneath the shelf of the stand. Don't know if you want that. You don't need to remove the iPad from its case. I leave mine attached. If it's a very thick case, it may be a little trickier to get it in the Holder
@@DonnaSchwartz Nope, Peak suggested I fold the stand down and attach the holder. It works this way, although looks awkward, but not much. I'm not too sure about damage to the iPad case after using it for a while... Will see. Thanks for your review!
Hi! Can these connect to the top of my music stand? I’d love to attach it to a top corner to record as I play. Resting my phone at the bottom lip of the stand is a terrible angle!
Any thoughts on aluminum vs. steel Peak mic stands to go with the tablet holder? My hunch is that the extra weight of steel will be better for outdoor gigs and a counterbalance for a heavier tablet, such as the 12.9" iPad Pro.
Doesn't make any difference. Just did an outdoor gig with winds at 15-20 mph. The PEAK e-mobile device held up m old iPad Air with no problem. I use their original Boom are stand
Hercules have one that brings the mic over the pedal boards for guitarists. If only they used the same curved hook system instead of not being able to use protective cases.
@Donna Schwartz well, I see it can hook to the mic stand. But if you play a keyboard, and the stand comes towards your mouth so you can sing while sitting and playing. I'm curious if it can hook to the stand, but come down below where the actual mic is positioned or back, but on the part of the stand that the mic is connected to. I wouldn't be able to word it any different for the company.
If you look at the connecting piece of this device, I think it should work for you because it can be angled. I attach this to my mic stand and angle up
I don't work for PEAK Music Stands - I am endorsed by them. Contact the company via their website. I know they ship to other countries because I recently spoke to them about this
@@DonnaSchwartz Thank you Donna for your reply....I've tried reaching them and sent them an email many days ago but no response. I had to order another one yesterday. In the meantime if the new one I ordered is not what I'm looking for, I'll try them again. :)
It wouldn't attach to the top of a tripod, but you could attack to one of the legs if they go high enough. If not, check out their mic stands. I love their lever system - I never have a problem opening or closing the lever.
Not that this looks like a bad product but the airturn come with an adapter that places my ipad off to the side, which is huge to me, why? Because i also put on a cup holder, so there for i can put the ipad off to the side and it does not take up much space on the stand
Thanks for the tip on the ipad holder. BTW, cool sax lamp !!!

Thank you for this video i just bought the stand and iPad holder using your discount code.
Glad it helped - they are great products
Awesome! Just purchased it, I never felt comfortable with the one I had, not to mention always having to remove the case before using it.
I would hate having to remove the case on my iPad. This E-Device from PEAK works perfect
Now you come out with this. I've purchased two iPad holders that turned out to be crap. I just ordered this one.
I was waiting a long time for them to come out with it too. Glad they did because it's great

Thank you for the review. I picked up the E-Device holder and took advantage of your discount code.
Enjoy it!
I just ordered one of these thanks to your review.
Glad I could help. I really love this holder
Great review! I have purchased one, but haven't used it yet...May 15th will be it's maiden voyage on a live gig...Thanks again!
You're welcome - just used it on a private gig and it worked perfect. Super compact to store too.

@@DonnaSchwartz thanks for your candid opinion. I trust only you on this matter and will go by what you say 🙏
Thanks for the awesome review. I am going check out the holder for the ipad. Question can it also hold a Iphone 13 pro max?
Thank you and Yes!
Great review!!! Going to check it out. Do you know if it also capable of holding the iphone 13 pro max?
Yes!
Hey! Can this be attached to a ‘boom’ mic stand? I’m a keyboard player and I stand up when playing.
Thanks!!
I've not attached it to the boom arm even though the clamp would fit, the angle wouldn't work - I usually attach it to the main pole.
Good explanation Donna. I am gonna buy this right now.
Don't forget to use the code to get the discount
Great review. I had already purchased with your code. Peak makes great products. Thanks.
Awesome - you're gonna love it!
Great review! I have placed my order for it today. I like how small it is and the arms fold down for storage.
Good choice! Hope you enjoy it!

Don't know, but you won't get the discount unless you use my code and go to the Peak site - the link is in the description
Thank you for your review. Great advice. I got a friend who is looking for an iPad holder. Thanks:)

No, I haven't found a limited range of angles - you have 360 degree rotation. It sticks out from the mic stand, so it wouldn't hit it
Excellent review. You’ve solved my issue with the iKlip. I’m going on my 3rd.
Glad I could help!

Yes, the Holder can attach to a regular Peak music stand or regular music stand - the pole part or the flat part of the stand that holds the music
Thanks for the great review. Was thinking of going with the iKlip but reading some reviews and watching your video I can see the Peak product may be the way to go.
It's a great holder. I've been using it for a few months and it's super sturdy and stable.
Thanks Donna, great video, I've been looking for an iPad Pro holder, do you think this will work with 12.9 inch iPad? Also, wondering if I can source this in the UK? Thanks 😎
Yes, but contact PEAK directly to make sure. The device should be able to fit all mobile devices.

Hi! Can these connect to the top of my music stand? I’d love to attach it to a top corner to record as I play. Resting my phone at the bottom lip of the stand is a terrible angle!
While it will fit, the angle won't work. best to attach to some time of circular pole, like a mic stand

To follow up, I contacted Peak Stands and they recommended the heavier steel base for this application (large tablet makes the stand top-heavy).
Is there a program or app to keep track of your music or do you take pictures of the music?
I use ForScore. I talk more about that and the other gear I use in the Solo Gig Secrets course.

Try the brand Hercules.
Hello. Is Hercules DG307B better than Peak or Iklip 3 ???
For an iPad/tablet or phone holder, Peak is the best. I use what I review
