I've watched a few of these installation videos and I have a question: did you have to install that power outlet next to your toilet? None of my bathrooms have outlets at floor level much less beside the toilet. The only outlets I have are GFCIs next to the sink.

Yes, you need power to work this thing.
Do you know if the adapter end of the auto flush cable can be cut and solder to C5 power cable directly to allow auto flush to work on the C5?
