    I am 56 years old. I have never once thought "Yes. I want a Cadillac." Until this year's 4 and 5 Blackwings

    Need a CT4 V Blackwing for a daily and the 2023 C8 ZO6/7 for the weekend

    Traded my 2021 C8 for CT4 Blackwing. No Regrets , it is great fun and I can park it anywhere and not worry about it.

      Exactly right, it slips under the radar and yet delivers epic performance. The C8 is quite nice too, though: ruclips.net/video/aPB0zYSfryo/видео.html

      @@daboxer181 m 6. But alas that one’s gone now too. I have replaced with CT5 V orange, and a Lyriq . I’ve gone to the dark side with EV.

    A good video but for hell's sake stop slapping your hand on parts of the car, unless of course you own it..

    The mark ups of CT4s are nuts, definitely a great car though and prefer the 4 to the 5, just lighter.

    • @viewsonvehicles
      @viewsonvehicles  2 года назад +1

      You’re right. The 4 is lighter and definitely has a sharper front end and more agility in general. But the sound and pull of the CT5’s V8 makes it a tougher call for me: ruclips.net/video/sjJIxhwUAu4/видео.html

    On the track what the heck was the guage on the left doing?

    • @viewsonvehicles

      That's a friction circle. It shows how much g you are pulling and in what direction. Up is braking, down is accelerating, and side to side is cornering. Hope that helps.

    Question: For the daily driver who wants something sporty, quick, and enjoyable, would you buy this car over the Lexus is500? Strictly talking about residential roads, not the race track. Price and power are about the same.

    • @viewsonvehicles
      @viewsonvehicles  2 года назад +1

      It pains me to say that I have not yet driven the IS500. But I drove the IS350 AWD and enjoyed the quality of the chassis and the ride. Handling was totally competent, though not terribly engaging. The CT4-V Blackwing is fantastic on the roads and track alike. Quick reactions, lots of poise, and also plenty comfortable. From driving fun point of view, I’d guess the Cadillac is my preference. But, again, didn’t drive the IS500 for a true apples to apples comparison. Sorry I can’t give a better answer.

      @@viewsonvehicles Much appreciated! If you do get a chance to drive the is500 keep me in mind!

      DEFINITELY, THE BW WINS! The IS500's suspension is way too soft. It's almost as fast as the BW in a straight line but wouldn't be able to chase it down a curvy mountain road. It would get LEFT by the BW!

      There is no comparison. The Blackwing is better in steering, handling, and acceleration. The Lexus will be cheaper and more reliable to own.
