As a native person, I get called "entitled". This video does nothing to help this extremely common notion and does nothing to advance the conversation.
I feel like a white person wrote this video on native people's behalf.

It wasn't really that funny. The animation was fine , the concept was amusing but it was missing something. It was closer to insulting than it was funny.

Little too preachy/woke. I'm Native and I'm honestly not sure I agree because...from my anthropological knowledge lots of human cultures have animal totems/"spirit animals" of some kind.
They do, but this is pointed at American/Canadian people, mostly American. When they use these phrases, it isn't in regard to their cultures from times passed, but in reference to native American popculture/cliche's/etc. created and really burned into the brains of Americans since the 40s, but especially in the 70s.

Who are you to say only your selected group of people gets to use a massive portion of the earth until the end of time? I thought natives didn’t believe in owning land, but that is was for everyone to share. What do you really purpose? I bet if everyone but full natives left you would want them to leave the buildings and the cars and electric lights and medicine here huh? Or do they take their inventions and machines with them?
There's a difference between individual ownership and national territories. The US was home to many different nations that were conquered by force. Many of which have treaties with the US government.

Tribe and Spirit Animal isn’t cultural appropriation. They aren’t culturally specific to Native Americans. They are present in many different cultures throughout the human species.
