My sweet boy passed away a few weeks ago. We had him for a little over 40 years. He had a stroke. He was so affectionate and just loved to be petted and kissed on his head. It is heart breaking to no longer hear his voice and to see his sweet little face. I miss him terribly.
My boy Ozzy was in a pet store that went on fire so he doesn't have all of his claws/nails but his feathers are fine. My uncles neighbour saved him. He was the only pet that survived and after a few years my uncle got him then we got him. We still have him to this day and he loves my feet lol. He can say what quite well because we say it too much and I love him so much he hates my brother though. He's a sucker for my aunt Nikki. He loves her lol
His name was Bubblegum because he made a noise that sounded like he was saying Bubblegum Bubblegum really fast though. The whole time he was in the car on the way home from picking him up at the breeders.
cool! i have an orange winged amazon parrot called Rico to! i only got him a few days ago for my birthday!but im having trouble training him as he is fearful of everything including hands and is very defenaibe of his came his fear turns into aggression do you have any advice for Me??
stay close to him as much as possible..... (keep his cage by your side) also try to feed him by hand...... 1st let him notice you putting food in his cage. after he is used to being fed and associates your hand with food you want to try and feed him by hand if you fail stop and try it tommorow. repeat this until he takes the food. you also want to be very social with him, talk with him even if he doesnt reply
Mike Hunt just wondering if I am going threw that process should you let the bird out of the cage even if it is not tame or would that not be a good idea?
