I think we should allow Dagg to rent stump grinder. It's not a machine that will make him a million £,it will just make a field look nicer. Also i think he can rent it only if he wants to expand an existing field.
@robbo69uk he's used that loads on FS22 so I'm sure he's aware of it but they are going more realistic so don't think they want to use it otherwise they probably would have already by now. But that's just a guess.
I disagree personally. If it is needed, it can be bought, as intended on the design of the survival series. Soon that amount of money will be a drop in the bucket anyhow, poplar sale being a good example.
The repair cost of vehicles and equipment is based on the purchase price, and goes up substantially with more damage. 0-25% Damage costs 1% buy price, 26-50% costs 3% buy price, and 51-100% costs 9% buy price. You end up paying 9x more if you only repair fully damaged vehicles. Had you have been consistently repairing your tractor, you would have only totalled 2,400 Pounds at this point rather than 21,690 pounds all at once.
Hi Daggerwin, great video as always. Love both Hutan Pantai and this series, just a small tip for this multiplayer series would be to maybe enlarge the chat when you or chainsaw are writing something or discussing, watching ur videos on a Tv makes it impossible to see what you guys are chatting about haha, keep up the good work!
If you are going to expand the poplar, your best bet is to put a summer crop in the field you're expanding into first. Poplar takes 16 months to grow, so any you plant now won't sell for 24 months, whilst planting something to harvest in July still gives you that 16 months of growth (if you plant it immediately), but you still sell the poplar in 24 months time.
Thx so much for the awesome series! Personally I would really love to see an episode of logging the whole back of plot 5 and maybe 3 and expanding the fields even further. Would make a decent sum in logs as well cutting them up on 6-8 meter lengths.
Man , i am 30, playing fs25 ( got 180hrs ) but when i go to sleep i always watch your survival serial .. its sooo good keep up the good work and thanks for your videos ! Advice : after selling poplar join all 3 fields and plant soya or smth , poplar takeees ages to grow we want to see you earn from your crops not contracts
Good to see money rolling in, sorghum and soybean season ahead ❤ i saw that planter as you were checking the cultivator on sale and thought "no way theyre gonna miss that right, thats so lucky" 😂
Great episode guys. With the servicing, it is like RL; service often before the problems get worse and cost more to repair. I repair after each day, give it a go. Good to see some money coming in. I think you have grown into the new farm quite well (when you buy it) ❤❤❤
in my experience, the lower the service bar gets, the higher the costs will be. I believe I read that somewhere in the faq once. but also just the hours on the machine itself rack up the costs quicker..
Hi Daggerwin as i told Chainsaw you should take advantage of the sheds next to your fields and store some of your equipment in them but keep a few up at your area what you need the most
i've found if you keep up on your repairs it doesn't cost nearly as much. I repair my machines after every job and it costs me about 1-1.5k a month during planting or harvesting season to keep everything maintained. Even using pre-owned machines costs minimally if you stay on top of it. It's rather realistic in that sense.
I've found the only stump grinder working for any stump so far not including mods is the Cancella forestry mulcher. It's not cheap but it works on the big stumps. It's the only one I've been able to get work.
hey on the bottom of field 5 down the hill you should cut the trees and plant grass on the hill end of it. also you could take the bottom track out as no need to get more land on field 3 and 4
for the next harvet of wood chips i think u should buy a bigger sawmill. not the most fun too watch u fill it, but i think it will make u sooo much more money then fields. =)
I though I'd read some posts about using a mulcher to grind down stumps? Might be worth testing a rental on hutan pantai and if it works buy a mulcher in survival
If you repair more often it doesn't cost near the same % wise to the value of the item. You will save more money overall if you just repair way more often.
there is not anothe collectable neae your own plots. there are a few that are close. one is in the playgrownd hall down the bottem one a desk. the other is near plot 90, there is a small stream go to the end and you will find a shed. the 3rd that is somewhat close is near the football field it is a house and yard that has a playground and shed, on the side of the shed there is a lot of hanging pots on the out side its those hanging plants. hopoe this clarifies for you.
Dag , saw , plant the popular in the grass field at the farm behind the greenhouse , and then you can eventually do more small fields when you buy them
I say sell the original farm but the new one near the other fields. Current one is good but not very flat and had the old barn issue where u can’t build a shed etc.
The repair bills for servicing in FS are completely unrealistic and ridiculous. Even a tractor with 500 hours wouldn't have a 20k service bill..... On the leasing topic. I think it's perfectly acceptable to lease equipment like stump grinders. It's perfectly acceptable in the AG industry IRL to lease equipment. If every farmer had to buy everything they would go broke.
Renting is realistic to how farmers survive. They don’t buy every little piece of equipment they need so not sure why you guys feel the need to make it unrealistic.
Daggerwin i have a mission .my birthday is on January 23rd and I am home alone so for my birthday can you sing my happy birthday .i am subscribed to you . please that's all I want for my birthday.

Completely agree 👍
Just get the lumberjack mod

Makes a lot of sense though, like changing out your oil or something vs replacing a whole part irl. Hopefully Daggerwin sees this one.
Theres only one collectable on your land

@@DancerOfClouds didn't you say you were going to quit watching?
You should sell the little shed on the land, frees up more space
Don't think you can sell that one
@tims9434 you can, i did it on my savegame
I like the shed. It adds character.
Aim for the Farm plus Field #2, then turn #2 into your Poplar, while Combining #3, #4 & #5 into one
in my experience, the lower the service bar gets, the higher the costs will be. I believe I read that somewhere in the faq once. but also just the hours on the machine itself rack up the costs quicker..

Dag if there is any way of posting 2 vids every day just love you vids
Plant the poplar later in a new to buy bigger field and join those three together for another crop. I made it one huge goat and sheep field. >)
hey on the bottom of field 5 down the hill you should cut the trees and plant grass on the hill end of it. also you could take the bottom track out as no need to get more land on field 3 and 4
Absolutely love the videos daggerwin.
for the next harvet of wood chips i think u should buy a bigger sawmill. not the most fun too watch u fill it, but i think it will make u sooo much more money then fields. =)
should sell everything at the current property to fund the farm purchase where the poplars are at and then redo the stuff you had at the old farm
I though I'd read some posts about using a mulcher to grind down stumps? Might be worth testing a rental on hutan pantai and if it works buy a mulcher in survival
Buy the corn head and a bigger wagon for grain!
If you repair more often it doesn't cost near the same % wise to the value of the item. You will save more money overall if you just repair way more often.
13:56 always service equipment or it'll let you down
Wood transport is more enjoyable then cultivating contracts .
Please hit like if you agree
Forestry is the most awful thing in all of FS...
I have so many videos to catch up on.. but it’s a snow day tomorrow and get to catch up!!
i think renting things should be allowed but if you have the money to buy it, YOU HAVE TO BUY IT, aswell as you can only rent one thing at a time
I want to start a petition for longer videos please
Can you sell the house? Might be a good place for cows or another animal?
Nope. It's the bane of my farm
Like a few others suggested why not sell the old farm to fund the new? It's a great story.
On the new land that you bought put a nother green house or two on there where you are clearing the trees
There is a limestation at field Nr 2 😊
You have a house on the new land plot! You and Chainsaw100 can stop sleeping in the pickup truck at night
What is a mod you personaly would LOVE to come into the game, i am very curious.
There's a lime buying station right by field 2
New field should have poplar in it and leave it at that for the poplar
First thing i did on this map was combining these 3 fields near the startfarm into one with nice long rows
Get the Lumberjack mod and use chainsaw to remove stumps
I bet thoose are virtual daggerwin's sapplings, he is trying to be in the series
You should have gotten Blacksheep modding subsoiler

Next to the farm is a limestation
I think you should sell the other farm and buy the new one 👍
were u sold the woodchip bales there a collectable in the shed u have to go over like a black bridge
You should jus sell the plot in yhe south and buy the one that connects the 3 fields together
Im sure there was an autmatic animal feeder for one of the fs games
Since you have the sawmill can yall do the old museum grain mill repair this series but it takes akot of resources??
No collectible down there. Most are North or mid map near the shop.
i think we should sell the original farm then we gave the barn and leave you with some extra money.
Dag , saw , plant the popular in the grass field at the farm behind the greenhouse , and then you can eventually do more small fields when you buy them
Isnt there a building you can build that allows you to service your own machines?
1st
On tonight's episode of Farming Simulator, I walk around someone house a trailer gets loaded with bales, and I park a tractor
I say sell the original farm but the new one near the other fields.
Current one is good but not very flat and had the old barn issue where u can’t build a shed etc.
21k for a service is damn near a new engine lol
What can your harvester
Harvest
LOL we can't put the plow in the shed we put the bio bailer in. We don't own that shed LOL.
Spent £22K and you only got 90% repaired !!! - but it definitely needed it.
That cultivator you were looking at in the sale has a TERRIBLE hitbox, like a meter out into open space on each side.
That service cost is laughably unrealistic
try the lumber jack mod george
what happens when the collectible is on land you cant buy
Wood chips are like silage bales in fs17 with how much money you get from them
When is the Deere going
Why do people insist that woodchips were bad in 22? They were good in FS22 at around 1000k per 1000 liters on normal
u can download a mod that alows you to remove the stumps with your chainsaw
Lumberjack mod
The repair bills for servicing in FS are completely unrealistic and ridiculous. Even a tractor with 500 hours wouldn't have a 20k service bill.....
On the leasing topic. I think it's perfectly acceptable to lease equipment like stump grinders. It's perfectly acceptable in the AG industry IRL to lease equipment. If every farmer had to buy everything they would go broke.
Why not sell land 24 and your starting land with the sawmill and greenhouse then use that money to buy land 1 with the farm house and sheds..
Why arent you Just pooting only latuce in the Green house?
Renting is realistic to how farmers survive. They don’t buy every little piece of equipment they need so not sure why you guys feel the need to make it unrealistic.
