As the other comments shared, chainsaw is the more rational of the two daggerwin does purchases because "it'll be fun" i.e the horses. I started my farm after daggerwin and I'm miles ahead
nice buy in the sale it shows what you can do when two people work together for one goal, just a thought but when you type and chat with Chainsaw any chance you could drop out of time lapse so we can read what you say to each other, keep up the great work :) happy Christmas
I forgot to lime my field once so I tried liming after it started growing. The growing crop didn’t take the lime. It seems like 25 wants you to lime before it starts growing. I now in 22 you could lime while it was growing, before it hit a certain growth state.
I saw a couple people comment this in the previous videos but the log trailer apparently can extend to give it more length I think one of the control buttons when attached to it lengthens it.
Poplar needs lime! But you can only apply lime directly (same in game day) after the poplar harvest or bevor seeding. I had the same issue in my playthrough.
A note about the new combine, you should be able to use any grain header with any combine. Trialed this in my own save and could use largest header on the starter Massey combine
Yay a new combine joins the farm this is going to be a huge success and a massive step up know because not only can the harvesting cereal crops begin know but you and chainsaw can do harvesting contracts which will bring in big money and this new claas combine should cope with huge harvesting contract I really love ❤️ the new combine 👍
Since popular does not wither it might be a good idea to to only harvist half the field at first and wait six months to harvest the second half that way your not getting overloaded with work all at once and you get to have a popular harvest every year
Irl we put about 250 hours on a combine every harvest season and they last about 10 to 8 years before the maintenance issues and technology gap become large enough for us to upgrade not sure if that helps with converting to fs time
In FS22 anything above 50 hours was considered trashed because at that point the damage per hour curve peaked and repairing the machinery no longer made sense as you lost more money in the long run by doing that than by selling it and buying another one (which is also why it's always better to use rented equipment for jobs than using your own as that tiny profit cut is cheaper than putting hours on your own and then having to repair it). And since the hit to horsepower, working speed, seed usage, fuel consumtion and even yield was massive (40% loss on harvesting and 30% hit on everything else), nobody on our server ever bought second hand harvesting equipment (harvesters, balers, basically anything that turns something into something else) and tractors because what you save on the discount you lose twice over on the repairs. The only things worth buying second hand were "shuffling equipment", ie. trailers, forklifts, carts, cars and other stuff used to either take produce to sell points or to transport equipment around the farm.
28:10 its closer to 2800 hours they usualy play on 6x speed and have 1 day per month, so its basicly 12x6=78 so 1 ingame hour is roughly 78 irl hours dont know how long a combine usualy runs, but about 2800 hours seems like a lot
I planted about 4ha of poplar, I think the best way to do it was change the width down to about 1.2m and it filled the field perfectly. No offset required
I did the poplar thing manually by setting the working width at 1m. Did it fresh though, not sure what the best way to fill the gaps in your situation.
Low key I hope yall always keep the Deere for the simple reason of my curiosity as to how many hours you'll put on it over the course of a whole series start to finish (a finish which is hopefully a long way out)
I wouldn’t have bought in the sale I don’t think. 40 hours is a lot of hours in farm sim. 50 is about the point where it needs to be repaired a LOT and that’s about the point where I’d trade a piece of equipment in (in game) I’d rather have saved the money and in a few episodes bought the same thing or slightly bigger brand new. Nevertheless I understand the argument for buying used to start out with and hope it works out for them
Just a reminder that the combine headers are universal, you don't need a header of the same manufacturer. I often when starting in new farm mode will switch out the header only for a slightly wider one
Hope you and Chainsaw had a great Christmas. OK, the new quicke bail fork mod from efarmer has straps that hold pallets down and logs. I don't know if that's cheating 🤔
I completely filled a 1 ha field with poplar and made over 400k playing on normal economy settings. Felt like i was cheating. Ohh, and i only had the normal 125 cm baler and it came to 193 bales!!! Btw, i believe it took 15 months for it to fully grow if someone was wandering.
Hey #Daggerwin i would like to suggest you two get this mod for on the back of the Steyr tractor its a good mod hope it hels its a large plow can plow up to 6,9,12m width you can buy it for 17k but it will make you much more in return of cash hope it helps you guys: LIZARD Subsoiler MT, max power req. 260hp thx and good luck also you need this mod aswell for more contractos at the same time active: Contract Boost good video
Appreciate the detailed breakdown! Just a quick off-topic question: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How can I transfer them to Binance?
daggerwin the delay ur thinking of is ping or the speed info can go to the server but singleplayer games have no ping even a 100 ms delay can feel very weird to ur brain
Forestry and logging is as painful in FS25 as it was in FS22. I'd rather take my own appendix out with a rusty spoon and without anesthesia than ever do forestry in this game. I just delete the trees and add some money to my account. Way better for my sanity!
I’m sorry, but I gotta ask how do you not like doing the wood contracts? You said it feels repetitive but you keep doing cultivating contracts. It’s no different.
I wink buy the game as soon as it goes on sale.. With the 1 year pass... Its waaaay too much to pay for it as of now for me.. I'm not satisfied 😒 So disappointed when I saw what they released... When are Giant going to release a great game?? I know I've spent alot of time in FS15 actually... When that game was fully modded and as optimized as it can get, it was a great game... Now it's feels like we stepping back again.. Thats too bad..
You guys really hurt yourselves with repairs and fuel cost as you both are really bad at leaving tractors running. Should really make an effort to make sure they are switched off when you leave them.
I just bumped into this retro video ruclips.net/video/bUk432skIyc/видео.html 😉 Voice quality was peak even back then 😅 Why don't you and Chainsaw100 communicate like this today instead of writing?
Not gonna lie,but the survival challenge does better in financial health than Hutan Pantia sometimes 😂
Its because Chainsaw100 is here to keep him in check
Because Chainsaw can point out that taking out a 300K loan for a new combine with barely increased capacity is a bad idea.
As the other comments shared, chainsaw is the more rational of the two daggerwin does purchases because "it'll be fun" i.e the horses. I started my farm after daggerwin and I'm miles ahead
@@ackielhemmings8174yes but it wouldn’t be as entertaining to watch you doing same thing over and over just beacuse it’s the most profitable thing.

In 20 years, there will be a palette of fully grown trees sitting in the vehicle shop car park. 😁

Recently became a member best 5$ I’ve ever spent!! Love the videos you are the king of FS content
A note about the new combine, you should be able to use any grain header with any combine. Trialed this in my own save and could use largest header on the starter Massey combine
22:02 Puting diesel in a V8 petrol car.
That usually goes whell
In the future, when planting poplar, set the working width to half the normal working width, and it shouldn't miss anything.

I finally got fs25 for Christmas and i have too say its a great step up for Giants!
Just finished watching your previous video today, now I get to watch another one!

daggerwin doing burnouts on the ferry 🤣
2:42 Bro hit that bournout 😂

Set your planter to the smallest width for the gps and you will have no spaces between the rows at all
Dagger i love this series

Great series! 🎉

Crazy how fast yall got that money when you really needed it!! Loving this series
solid progress, keep it goin guys!
You should do corn!😊

Hope you had a great Christmas 🎄
If the planting width was 2.4, the offset should be 1.2 for the center of the gap.

2:20 the hell with those rims on the combine they look like they belong on a race car
love your videos really inspire me to play more farming on fs22 what would u say best map for rolplay or challenge
Happy Boxing Day😊🇬🇾
Daggerwin is you wanne plant the most compact for the poplar just put the gps at 1.2m just half the planter
When you do bailing contracts, you can sell the bales you make before you take the money for completing the contract. Just a little tip for the future
I am glad of these amazing videos with so much stress and hardship as a result of these bushfires
Update we came back home and it's fine
Downloading now! Hope it’s good.
Keep up the good work daggerwin

weight limit on ferry like trailers unless you are playing with realistic weight on it doesnt matter
Daggerwin, what song did you use in the bale contract time lapse? You always have bangers in the background
Draw distance is abysmal at best when you did the bailing.
when will this farm have a barn or machinery shed????
Need new episode 😢
there seems to be a render issue with the straw swathe not just in multiplayer
Bro, extend the damn log trailer.... Will give you way more space. There's a whole other section that extends out of the back....
I thought it was explained in one of the earlier episodes that you would only be able to buy new equipment.
Hey Daggerwin, couldn’t you keep the bales for your self from the balling contract? 17:46

Why do my Woodchips only go to 900 per 1000L but everyone else gets 1600?
Prices are based on the game difficulty
40 closer to 4000 IRL
Just started on this map think its great the Asian map doesn't run well on series s
It’s a American map
Plant trees!!!
I got this game on my series s for christmas but the frames are low 30 or 40fps
And yout going to need a header trailer
Is anybody ever gonna take those poor saplings? 😅
I’m sorry, but I gotta ask how do you not like doing the wood contracts? You said it feels repetitive but you keep doing cultivating contracts. It’s no different.

5 days since last episode. Too long. 🥺
Pls make a survival roleplay
Buy a valtra harvester 8800
Why dont you employ courseplay?
Why bother looking at the Price chart if you sell the stuff regardless ???
You guys really hurt yourselves with repairs and fuel cost as you both are really bad at leaving tractors running. Should really make an effort to make sure they are switched off when you leave them.
1st
