would you install this dash cam on your car?
You are very welcome Sir, I learn alot from your channel, in September 2023 I purchased a 2022 Subaru Outback Wilderness and it runs like a champ, I'm still getting used to the little quirks. Stay Safe!
Wow that means a lot! I’m glad these videos are a help! To be fair, I wish we would have gotten a Wilderness! I think they look so rad! But it’s my wife’s car so it was ultimately her call! Same power though! Just different aesthetic!
The 5/16" wrench is not a cresent wrench, a cresent wrench is adjustable. I enjoy your informatvie videos. In your u haul hitch video you said jack stands instead of ramps.
@@josephmdeckman7841 thanks for pointing that out! I know they’re not perfect and I don’t get it right all the time. A lot of it is in the moment but I appreciate people like you who spot that stuff so others are aware as well! So thank you for that and thank you for watching!
Good video. Thankfully I don't have the auto rear door so it should be easier to install my rear cam
Thanks. I’m using a camera that mounts inside and “shoots” through the rear window. I should only have to remove the top trim to access the cable conduit.
I thought about that but I didn’t want the view to be obstructed by the window. Especially if it’s tinted
Thanks for the video!
You’re welcome! Hope it helped!!
I just got a Redtiger F7N dashcam and will be installing it in my 2023 Forester. I don't think the rear camera is waterproof, so I probably will try to mount mine on the top trim of the tailgate to peek out the rear window.
It's still helpful to see how the tailgate trim is attached, the more I know about this car, the better I can care for it. Thanks again!

@@daveb7999 nice!
Have you investigated the possibility of how to manually operate the rear hatching and when the motor fails?
I have. Not. Did this happen to you?
@@Loubar87 no but I plan on keeping this car for a long time and everything eventually fails.
@@MisterMister5893I hear you!
