Please note that the video only features songs that were officially released in their entirety. So songs like 'Just Like That' or 'Ricky Rock 'N' Roller' are not included. Furthermore, the video does not include non-English songs like 'Ah Vilka Tider' or the Spanish versions of their hits.

Their reunion in 2021 was almost like a dream that came true. Since their split in 1983, they've remained silent and only reunited first in 2018 for their anniversary tour, and now they reunited for real to make new songs and continue where they left. And I am so glad that they are back together.

@Marvin Morawski Most likely because that’s the only song that top the US charts being ar #1. But those are the non fans. A true ABBA fan would know not only the songs from both Mamma Mia movies, but all the other songs not on the broadway hit.

I am italian and discovered abba when I was 18(born in 1975).In Italy they weren't so successfull in '70(s.o.s reached the second position and it was their biggest hit in my country).For 8 years I listened only the songs contained in ABBA GOLD,MORE ABBA GOLD and MORE ABBA GOLD VHS( Bang a boomerang,Thats me,One man one woman and Happy new year weren't included in MORE ABBA GOLD DVD).Then in 2001 I 've bought all the original albums remastered....with many,many hidden treasures...ABBA are absolutely insane,out of this world,not humans.They came from another galaxy.
That Song Got Annoying For Me
My Top Three is as follows:
1. Fernando - exquisite harmony of voices, touching melody, and the transition from calm verses to powerful chorus is dazzling.
2. The Visitors - an underestimated gem, the best lyrics of all Abba's songs to sublime synthpop style
3. The Eagle - guitars and voices flying high in the sky, a very moving track.

They haven't been "together for almost 50 years...", the 2021 songs are the first ones in 39 years after they disbanded in 1982.

@@RohenKapur yeh, if you were to buy all albums, there's some ofd ones in there. Amd if you get the full studio recordings there's some very odd ones. If i remember rightly 'crazy world' has some crazy lyrics.

If they played all of their songs in a concert, it would be like going to a music festival but one artist. I'd go to it.
As a teen in the late 70s and early 80s I had several ABBA albums. I have never stopped looking for the "Dancing Queen".

TDBYC also is one of my favourite. I listen 2 it @least 1c a day especially when I use the local train ("elyektrichka" in Russian) going into downtown as the hero of Agnetha. The rhythm & musical size of this song is genuinely almost the same as the average train speed as I guess)))

Same with me. My twin and I had to buy our older brother’s ticket and a ticket for his girlfriend in order to get there. We were too young to drive. Even to this day my older brother says it was the best concert he has attended.

One of my first musical memories is from 1989 when I listened to my mothers LP with ABBA-Arrival. I was 5 years old. Still love them, and always will. Love from Norway:)
I borrowed my dad's musicassette with two couples in a helicopter, on the front side, and I've never returned it. I was just blown away by the music, and has been ever since.. So glad to see ABBA is making new, great music still today 😍

I think every abba song, including most of the unreleased songs are all fantastic! Benny and Bjorn have recently said though that there’s about 10 or so songs they think shouldn’t have been released because they weren’t good enough, I wonder which ones they are? My guess is songs from the first two albums, because the other albums are 100% solid gold!
Ring ring and Waterloo are both marvellous.Ring ring is fresh,Waterloo is like a concept album,my their fav one as album.Never in the history of the music,has been able to produce such a high percentage of good songs like them.Basically all(or almost all) their songs are enjoyable.The Beatles were exstraordinary but many of their songs are not up to the ones who everyone knows.It is not a personal opinion but an objective fact.
They have talked several times over the years about how they were kind of in musical limbo for about a year after Eurovision....ie. Waterloo. In other words, the popularity kind of died down for about a year after the euphoria of Eurovison. Bjorn claimed they released the wrong follow-up to Waterloo....which, for the record, was Honey Honey. So, I'm guessing Honey Honey is one of those songs they regret.
Don't think Honey Honey was a bad song myself. The girls were adorable in the video.
Then, shortly after that, SOS happened and they were back on track for greatness.

@@needlebfdia I agree.. Summer Night City is one of the great ones too. For whatever reason, ironically, Benny and Bjorn didn't particularly think it was good.
@@terryc.3390 I think B&B have said that the released version of Summer Night City is not the ultimate version in their opinions. They wanted to have an opening similar to the way they did the live version at Wembley
The song I wished they had finished: "Just Like That" (that ended up recorded by Gemini in 1985). The one composed by Bjorn and Benny that I wished they had recorded: "Another You, Another Me" (also recorded by Gemini in 1985, then by H & Claire in 2002)

In meiner Jugend habe ich praktisch nur ABBA gehört. Ich hatte alle Singels. Da ich immer schön brav meiner Mama im Haushalt half, gab sie mir die 5 sfr. um mir wieder die neuste Singel zu kaufen. Als ich dann später selber Geld verdiente, konnte ich mir die LP's kaufen. ABBA gab ein einziges Konzert in Zürich. Leider war ich erst 13 Jahre alt und durfte nicht an das Konzert. Ich war so traurig. Ihr Sound ist unverkennbar. Mir gefielen auch ihre Kleidung. Anni-Frid hat Zermatt den Rücken gekehrt und lebt jetzt am Genfersee. Ich liebe ABBA ❣❤❤🌹👋🇨🇭

Interesting to hear all these ABBA songs that never get mentioned or talked about that sound really great. Most of the songs in this are not included in any BEST OF compilations, which is sad cause more than half of these I've never even heard before.

Thanks for this. I was actually listening to all the songs I have from them over the years. I see I was only missing 3 - Dream World, I'm Still Alive and Put On Your White Sombrero. My favourite will always be 'Arrival' as my Mum (who's passed away now) bought it me on cassette - and it was the first album I owned of theirs.

Thanks for this interesting upload. As an ABBA fan since the mid 70s, I know more or less all of their songs and many are among my favourite all-time songs to this day. So many in fact, that I thought I'd use this video to check how many of their 103 songs I actually didn't like at all... in the end, I had compiled a list of... 9 songs! That's 9 songs out of their entire production!
My list (in chronological order)

#56 Hole in your Soul

Most of them have one thing in common, by overdoing a certain sound at the expense of the usual fabulous melodies. Overcooked funk (Man in the Middle), hard rock (Watch Out, Hole in your Soul, I'm a Marionette) or disco (Voulez Vous) just doesn't suit them, in my humble opinion. a very few songs were just plain boring and uninspired (like Sitting in the Palmtree, Hey Hey Helen, King Kong Song, Tiger)
As much as I also love the Beatles, in my opinion they had a far higher percentage of duds, especially in their later years under the influence of drugs, Yoko Ono and Hare Krishna.
If I had to choose one favourite album of ABBA, it would probably be Arrival, so full of pure gems and classics. On the next two places, I'd probably choose their last two studio albums, they both had some beautiful melancholic moods and deep reflections on life.
My hope for the upcoming album? I hope they don't stray too heavily into musical territory - I Still Have Faith in You was getting a little too close for comfort, so I hope for less for that, and more of Don't Shut Me Down.
