Written12 years ago, we recorded it on July 23, 2010 at Figment Studios in Austin, Texas. Five of us came together as a family to sing about Rudy S. Lopez Jr.'s legacy, his funny sayings, and tell the story of his best stage performance the night before he passed.
His nickname was "King," his last show was at the Hilton Palacio Del Rio, "The Palace." Rudy passed away suddenly the next morning, during a friendly basketball game. He was 53.
