When you are about to start you need to press the clutch put it in gear and release the clutch or just by putting the shuttle in forward without pressing the clutch?

When starting the tractor for the first time you need to use the clutch. After that the clutch is only needed for the Low to High range change, all other changes can be performed clutchless.
