Idea: since clans are basically royal families, make one clan and a bunch of other kingdoms with their own clans. Ever time someone that clan dies, use a tornado or something on the second biggest clans kingdom as a “curse” or something.
Idea. 3 or 4 kingdoms. Split the traits between all kingdoms. Only 1 person gets 1 trait. So it would start like kingdom a has 10 people. And each of those 10 people have a different trait, and they are the only one with that trait on the map. Let 100 years of peace go by to let the traits mix and match through breeding then see what kingdoms have good trait vombos and how those combos benefit them in wars. Maybe it sounds cooler in my head than it really is but still...

this seems straight out of a ancient myth or story, the world is fine as long as people don't become too greedy and go to the forbidden island then they do, and learn why it was forbidden facing an Immortal Hermit and the virulent plague rats which inevitably will destroy their civilization leaving a mere rement to survive and the stories they share which become legends then myth then are forgotten and the cycle repeats.
Ron had realised, even with being immortal it was restless work having to kill those who interrupted him. Eventually, he knew he would die. Ron did not like this. Ron tamed rats to spread the plague so even if he were to die, he would take all the other people he despised with him.

Here's an idea: a gigantic Orc empire, with 3 big yet smaller empires of different species, separated from each other by great mountains. After a 1000 years, all three join together to try and defeat the Orc menace once and for all.
What if you’d do a kingdom of 1000-10000 and just put 1 person that’s infected in the mids. Would the kingdom eventually get rid of the plague or get killed by it?
With a bigger kingdom you normally have enough people to have children that some will randomly have immunity. And then either nearly everyone without immunity dies and the plaque is gone or it just keeps killing some people without killing enough to burn out. But it would be interesting to make some experiments about how likely wich event is, what population size is necessary for surviving and if the geography helps. I think this tiny islands make it really hard to survive, because everyone on the island gets almost immediately infected and dies before there’s enough space to have children who might have immunity.
