Great video! I just got my Pillar(the blackout) last week. Put an ulti-clip on it and it's one of the most comfortable fixed blade EDC's I have!!! It really is a great knife. If I'd of known about it sooner, I would've most "definitely" got it sooner!!! Again bro, great video...
You know really good if I did not have my WINKLER I would have that . It is really good steel. Just awesome to sharpen. I can just tell that is a really good blade Bro.
Definatly a nice blade for outdoors type stuff. Looks well made, Wonder if you try the but end of the knife is sharp enough to strike a ferro rod, know that some companies do that so you can have the knife in the sheath when you strike the ferro rod as its safer to do it that way. Thanks for the great vid and keep making sharp things fun and enjoyable
Tip fails on this knife. Its more show than go. If you want a real tactical knife that crosses into survival territory, look no further than the Glock FM78. Pobably the toughest, lightest knife I have come accross.
Hands down my favorite SOG Blade!!
Definitely their finest fixed blade!
Thanks! Just ordered mine. keep up the good videos.
Awesome. Enjoy it. I heard SOG is discontinuing it now

Thanks for taking us outdoors
Thanks for watching! It was a nice day outside today. Been raining for waht seems like a couple weeks straight
@@isaacs_knives_and_knowledge No doubt you had some cabin fever.
I'd love to get the Pillar. For the time being though I'm content with both my Sog Seal Pup and Field Knife.
Both fine designs
Fantastic vidieo. Love the outdoors and the blade! Great fire!
Thanks!
That is a good blade! Great review have a great day
I wonder how it would stack up against your Winkler Belt Knife 😬😬

Noob great vid 👌 leaving comment so u know I still subbed lol 😆
Hey thanks, Greg!
Dude I love that knife. I hope they make some in different steels in the near future
What steel would you like it to be?
@@isaacs_knives_and_knowledge I think their D2 is decent as a budget option. Also cts-xhp, 3v, cruwear or m4. Theres a few options lol

Oh good suggestion on trying the butt end! That's why I'm the noob! Don't think of these things
Nice blade there! I bet it can do any task you put it to....even grilled cheese cutting.
Definitely!
Awesome knife brother, take care
Thank you!
Great looking blade, purpose built & quite capable. Ramped jimping, satin blade finish & multiple attatchment points on the sheath works for me! 🇺🇸💪🗡
SOG hit a home run with this
Awesome knife and review , thanks for sharing , God bless brother !
Thank you. This is a real cool blade
Take care and God bless
Hi Tressa! Hope you have a wonderful day
Live field test needed. Stick it into a russsian spine. Move it in and out, up and down, left to right. If the point holds let us know.
If one comes in my woods I'll let you know
I'm hoping to get one soon
Nice 👍👍
What is the blade thickness at the spine?
.16"

That sog knife not a game that's for defense, also for camping, or all purpose knife!
Yes, great utility blade
