      +sabz sabz Yep, speaks with a lot of common sense. The problem with whites is that they've adopted this ultra-liberal mindset. One doesn't have to be religious or believe everything to have conservative values that actually benefit in disciplining kids. What is even more amusing is that they use this same condescending attitude when dealing with people of colour, as if they are children. I guess 'white guilt' has overtaken all their common sense.

      There’s an easy fix. Don’t buy technology and spoil them when they’re very young. If you’re gonna teach these kids that they don’t have to work for things then obviously they will act spoiled. Hitting is just an excuse for lazy parenting

    Im a white 24 year old dude and Ive told black friends Im close to and even work with about me gettin spanked for anything as a kid and they asked if I had black parents and if I was adopted. This is so funny to see Aleea and Pops react to these wack parents not doing their job. i kid you not, I would even get spanked in bed for talking to my bro instead of sleeping, these kids got it made.

    Recently, there was a 14-yr old who changed the wifi password so no one else in the house could use the internet because it slowed down when he wanted to play games. So, he got into a fight with his 9 yr old brother who complained to his mother about it and his older sister who is 16 got in the middle to stop them from fighting and the 14 yr old put her in a chokehold and she died. He held her for 15 mins. That's how far this has gotten now....it's nuts.

      That's the problem. There's too much time put into video games and social media. It is the responsibility of the parent(s) to teach and enforce the importance of finding other ways of spending their time. If you are school-aged, you should be outside more. If you are 18+, GET A JOB and be productive in the dynamic of your family.

      Bernardo Santana You get Vitamin D from the Sun. I used to be Vitamin D deficient due to being disabled and bed bound for years. Would only be able to get out for hospital visits. My knee used to dislocate multiple times everyday, up to 40x a day at its worst. Due to a condition I have. I have had 33 knee operations because of it. Then a spine op, belly op & ankle op. All related to my genetic condition. So yes it’s Vitamin D 🙂.

    I'm a 90s born 11/ 15/ 1990 and I was always out side. I lived in a very very small town called kiowa and my friends and I rode our bicycles everywhere all day, we went back home to eat and before dark. Anything special I wanted I had to earn it. It was not house chores, my mom expected me to do chores, because you don't get rewarded for cleaning your house when I enter the world outside of high school. I was 13 and really wanted a cell phone, so I babysat and cleaned my grandmother house and saved up the money, which I did and I got the phone. It was a track phone and when I needed more minutes I had to earn it to. My husband was raised the same. We now are 28, and 27year old, married, have twins, a nice car and 2 months ago becoming home owners, with 0 help. Both of our families are generationally poor, so they couldn't help if they wanted to. We are teaching our children the same.

    • @rebeccalebeck9180
      @rebeccalebeck9180 3 года назад

      That's crazy... I feel for you! What's the reason your mother won't let you go to the park? If you live in a rough neighbourhood, maybe she is worried something is gonna happen to you outside, or that you end up making the "wrong" friends? Other than that, there really is no good reason at all in my mind to stop you from going outside!

    • @gkurose8671
      @gkurose8671 3 года назад

      @@rebeccalebeck9180 no we used to though, we live in a pretty nice low crime neighbourhood now. She's just scared someone will kidnap me (because it has almost happened before), I don't really be having friends and I never had a issue with hanging around the wrong people. All the people I talk to are pretty nerdy and introverted as I am, I've started to do little things to rebel against her now like calling friends over the phone, walking around our apt complex, and going to the store to buy some snacks. She was big mad when I'd do those things but I guess she's now used to me calling her up to tell her I'm walking across the street to buy some chips or juices lol

    In Oklahoma hell yes we will handle our kids. A neighbor kid was acting like an ass to their dad when my husband was outside and he said are you going to handle that. She the child popped off " I'll call the police" my husband just replied well it takes police half an hour to show up.....do you know what I can do in half an hour lmao. He was serious too. Thankfully we handled temperament issues at very young age with our kids. And whenever the few times they tested the boundaries the reaction was quick to be adjusted. My children were only spanked once each. Consistency works better than anything as a deterrent. In other words don't let a negative behavior go by without addressing it verbally at the least. Respect is a must from the beginning but I also treated my children with that mutual respect as they have never given me a reason to not.
    By the way having a child stand with their nose touching the wall for as many minutes as they are old for a teaching moment lol. Let's just say each of my children only did it a few times. In punishment get creative. Pulling a book report out on the weekend for saying that their bored and whining about it for an hour works for their benefit lol. Or useful things around the house weed yard, dishes etc... Physical labor is great for boredom. But tried not to use that too much because we did most of that kind of thing as family chores we made fun. So anyway. I agree with dad 💯. Everything in moderation and as parents we have to teach a healthy balance. But that is difficult for a lot of parents because they don't know how to balance technology. We will go out for the day doing activities as family and phones are left at home.... No freaks out because we are to busy enjoying each other's company and laughing

    I'm white. My kids wouldn't have dared to talk or act that way. My oldest tried when he was like 16 to disrespect his mother one time and he will never forget that day. My kids are in their 20's now and not one of them act like the rest of these young adults today.

    Subscribed. Been watching you two for a month and am absolutely amazed with you. The love and respect you both share is patently on obvious. You are both such a credit to one another. Keep enjoying what you do. (At least as much as we do) Peace, and MUCH love.

    White guy here:
    When I was in 2nd grade, every week we got packets of paper anywhere from an inch thick to two inches. We went through entire classes about how to get your parents in trouble if they so much as spanked you once for nearly three months. Some drunk dad sent one of his kids to the hospital for some reason, I think it was about skipping school, but I don't remember (that was back in '96 in the state of Vermont); so the city had the school brought us little kids into special classes about abuse and encouraged us to call the police or CPS for the tiniest things that our parents wanted us to do and the like.
    I used it once against my mom, telling she was going to go to jail while my sister and I wouldn't have to deal with her anymore...
    Got my ass paddled by her that same night, then that weekend by my grandma. Then, I had to help clean out the barnyard right after.
    It depends on who you live with and who's watching your family as to how you get punished. Other people will call CPS on you if you so much as give a kid a stern talking to in some areas. I've seen it happen.

    Aleea you are lucky to have a dad who loves you and works hard to protect you like he does. You two should react to the video "Daddy lies". A metlife commercial.

    Dad is a 110% right. As a dad myself with a daughter I'm guessing around your age. I agree with your dad about 99.9% with what he says. I don't subscribe to channels, but I did to y'all. Keep up the good work. Very entertaining.
