why is that a big deal?
Agreed, I think most creators will leave Gumroad as soon as they find another option.
Imagine being a creator who sold so much to achive the 1.5% option fee and suddenly you have a 10% fee, your business could not be sustainable anymore.
Who created (originated) this universe?
What is the fate of people with disabilities or special needs, or who died at a young age.They lived less than a year or more in life? And what is the fate of the abuser, the malicious, and the oppressor who was not punished in this world, as it should be? Or pay bribes to get away with it?
This is just an add for udemy masquerading as an opinion/comparison, so I would not take this seriously. I thought this would be obvious even to people operating with 2 brain cells.

FF 6 months and has your opinion changed? I'm looking for a new publisher. I pulled everything I had on Amazon off last Oct. They really treat writers like crap and the site is so inundated with garbage that it just isn't worth it. I'm going to check out your Lemon Squeezy vid next.
A little bit! I'm really encouraged by Gumroad paying investors and making that a priority. The 10% cut doesn't seem to have affected Gumroad as much as I thought it would which I think is for the better for creators at the end of the day. Gumroad is a great place to get started, but I don't think it makes a ton of sense to stick with it long term as a creator. That part hasn't changed. If you're growing or a good enough size, moving things to your own website seems to be the better option.
I read on Gumroad's Terms of Service that you cannot use PLR products. So am I to understand that changing the title and the contents around and "making it your own product" acceptable?
Not sure on that one. That's a bit out of my scope.

Definitely safe. Personally, feeling a lot better about Gumroad at the moment.

Do I have to register for a VAT number to start selling on Gumroad?
You can start selling on Gumroad without VAT. I personally haven't sold on Gumroad with Europe in mind, so I'm definitely not an expert in this. Here's the article Gumroad has on it: help.gumroad.com/article/10-dealing-with-vat
Which one would be the good LMS platform ?
Don't have a great answer for this at the moment. Completely depends on the use case. If it's a course, Podia can work well. If you're doing a cohort based thing, I'm liking Circle a lot so far. Has quirks but is definitely working.
Do you know most of the users or buyers that using gumroad are from which continent?
Not sure on that one. I haven't seen any data on that from Gumroad.

Gumroad is a piece of crap! Thank you for this post. Another problem I just found is they stopped accepting .png and .jpg files in their digital product submission. No errors, you just cannot save or pu7blish.
What? I haven’t uploaded anything on my Gumroad shop in a long while; I better check then…
