Love how you managed to make the relevant clip work. Usually clips that match the lyrics too much suck, but DAMN, this shit fire. I really love the "Knock knock" part with the Cosmonaut. That went absolutely hard. This is truly Ed's song.
It's funny cuz that tiny section was probably the trickiest to edit. It's just one clip copied three times, with the middle one reversed, then sped waaay up to fit. My computer refused to play back that part lol.
Thank you, I tried to capture that passage of time, like the fade-in parts at the beginning that go from S1-4 in order. I'm just glad I found enough scenes to make this video work!

Hmm, I've never heard of this "For All Mankind" so I'll check it out. But the actor playing Ed reminds me a lot of both Nathan Fillion and Tahmoh Penikett (who played Paul Ballard in Dollhouse). Enough so I have to ask if this show isn't a Joss Whedon Jam, lol. But I'll go look it up and find out. 😁
Oh boy, I highly recommend this series. It's by Ron D. Moore of Star Trek and Battlestar Galactica fame, and it's basically an alternate timeline where the Russians win the moon-race, which provokes the US to invest in more space exploration. Joel Kinneman is "Ed" and he's absolutely phenomenal, as is the rest of the stacked cast. It has its flaws, though. I'm a big fan but I'll admit there are huge parts of S2-3 that I cannot stand. Despite that, it's one of my favorite shows out there and I keep coming back for more. I'd give it a 9/10, one point off for unnecessary drama.
@@OrphanMartian the one thing that jumped out at me was specifically the time accelerated part in the very start, and yeah the song has a weird pace in the beginning, it doesn’t fit super well, since in that time I think a slow motion shot/montage of some sort would fit better
@@Blarnix Ah gotcha. That first bit with the car race was intentional, I was trying to mimic the actual video with its chaotic cuts and overexposure. But parts like Ed pouring cheese are really squished lol, I had to speed up a lot of footage to make it fit. Also, I feel like the "listen" parts are a bit out of sync, I probably should have recorded the actual video and made cuts using that as a reference. I appreciate the critiques! I'm always looking for feedback to make sure the quality and timing is good.
