Mega deserves credit on one hand. I was in my late teens when so solid got to number 1 but after that they more or less got shut down. The mainstream media and tabloids evidently hated them. But they definitely were not as big as Mega would have you think. They were just the first of a kind. Paying Cam and Dipset to come over sounded like guys from the UK just wanted to buy credibility by hanging around US artists. They would have been better investing that money in the UK scene at the time
