This is a great interview and I agree with Kevin and his guest. I am 50 and have four kids.I am half Korean and half White, I was born in Korea but raised and educated in the US. My wife is white. Almost all my relationships with women while growing up were with white girls and not asian girls. i lived in medium sized cities and went to college in Orange county. I found the Korean girls in my community were very driven by status and wealth seeking rather than genuine relationships. I never drew any interest from Korean girls. I found white girls to be more open and carried less cultural baggage and expectations. I suspect that has changed much with the times, and Asians brought up here are more free to do and pursue to do what they want with less family and traditional expectations. That's just my two cents worth.
Kevin brings up a lot of Interesting points..... And I hope this is the beginning and more conversations follow from this.... Among Asian brothers

@@henryfung6789 quite a generalization out of left field. By defeatist attitude I was meaning SOME Asian guys who feel like they can't date or give up on dating (not all in any capacity). I'm not referring to Asian women here at all, that's a whole different topic.
I've been rejected by every colour of Woman there is... don't let that stop you guys because it never stopped me. Keep shooting your shot. The worst that can happen is that she says no/excuse for no. I ain't ugly, frail, weak, dumb or lame so their losses. Keep bettering yourselves and keep moving forward. Lots of Women rejected me and ended up in some of the shittiest relationships ever lmao, that's on them!!! 4 rules to stand strong on... Only let a Woman reject you once. This is totally statically biased. Just few case in Yell university does not represent the whole. They shall try interview 10million case and see whether they shall get the same result.

Im going to be straight up. Majority of my Asian brothers don’t know how to take rejection well. Plus they don’t take the time to understand women. Like Asians work hard in school or career. Damit work hard with dating & women. Picking the right woman can be an investment. Most of Asian men just want a sure thing. Woman are like the weather. Yea you can forecast the weather; however, it can change at any moment. I’m Asian I’m mixed Vietnamese, Cambodian, & Chinese but people say look Filipino. IDGAF about rejection, I just move on to the next. I am average in looks, money, career, etc. I don’t have a problem picking up 5-7 women at all. It takes more game to pick up women who are 8-10 ,but I have. So whoever is reading this, remember every dog has its day & you miss every shot you don’t take. One big thing I’ve noticed Asians aren’t quick to physically fight. Most women; not all, want to feel protected by a man. I’m not promoting ghetto fighting. As men it’s our duty to protect just saying & among other responsibilities too. Stop being successful & smart pussies my brothers.

True. Most Asian men don’t handle rejection well, including myself. That is our downfall. We need to understand that rejection is no big deal. I have western men friends who is desensitized by rejection. They get rejected and go ask other girls out. They dont let rejection hurt their feeling or them being assertive on talking to girls.

I'm in a quandary as to whether you're being real or simply making up your 'experience' with fellow Asian men based on stereotypes.
"Not taking rejection well" sounds very finely spoken like a White man who needs "whimpy"/"whiny" Asian men to compare himself to.
I hope more Asian men can see the best in themselves and have greater confidence. And listen, if you are into women of color don't be afraid to approach 😁 She might be hesitant at first but if you show genuine interest you'll get that "yes" you're looking for ❤

Exactly. This is the same guy who said he was struggling in online dating and went through a depression phase at one time. And this dude is conventionally attractive! Imagine how hard it would be for the average Asian guy who doesn't have his height, fair skin and facial features?

how you look at it and whether you blame them depends on your personality. Black men have a defeatist attitude toward school and getting good jobs. The high numbers of them going into gangs committing crimes is so serious that from an outsider POV, it's difficult to offer sympathy and we blame them for being lazy and not trying hard enough to better themselves. It turns out, as what was revealed by this interview that Asian men have the same defeatist attitude toward dating, whereas they accelerate in education and career that Black men are inhibited in. So perhaps we should also shed less sympathy and just Asian men to work harder. Yeah, the system is not in our favor, but improving ourselves will still get us to a better place even if we don't get to the top.
