I’m rocking the series 8 , will upgrade when series 13 gets released!
Still got my Gold series 5 with the similar band. almost 4 years and it still looks fly. (n weirdly very similar to the series 9 excluding the size). no reason to upgrade. sometimes I forget its a 2020 model.
I also had the series 5, I just upgraded to the 9, with the series 5, it won’t get the watchOS 11 update when it’s released…..if you had any concerns.

Looks nice! Any problems with scratches regarding the Milanaise band?
No problems with scratches yet but I've only had it for a few weeks. Although the band has a texture that I would describe as "fuzzy looking", so I imagine any minor damage won't be noticeable.

Wish Apple would make a gold link bracelet for these. I have the mesh but it's meh. Always move in different positions, perpetually causing me to readjust it throughout the day.

Does the crown feel loose to you? I just upgraded from a series 5, so I don’t know if it’s normal for it to feel so loose, or if there’s something wrong with mine.
It feels very slightly lighter than the earlier model but I wouldn't classify it as "loose". I recommend going to an Apple store and comparing yours to the display models to make sure yours is not different.

Ultra versions have more things but depends on the use you do. For every day a 7-8-9 its perfect. The sthetic of the ultra is distintive
