I bought the bull pack 20 years ago for packing out elk . One of the best simple , comfortable pack frames I ever bought. Will hold more weight than you can carry. Great video Dave.
Great video. The flare is great carried for years. Carried out dated ones I find around marinas because boaters have to have in date ones . Stay warm and dry enjoy
I've watched so many videos of Dave putting together kits that if I see a fork at the grocery store I hear his voice. "That's a multi purpose item, I can use it for a frog gig and eating and by grinding the back sharp against a rock you got a makeshift blade."
Great video!! Not just for trapping, but for all-day-hunting where you may become immersed in unseen water! you can put the trophies into the black trash can to pack them out, just need dry shoes.
Really interesting to see what you have in your kit. I keep something very similar in my car for the very same reason (cold water immersion, caught in a downpour, etc). Since I have my vehicle it's more about comfort than real survival but it's come in handy a few times when I, or a passenger, have fallen into a wet, muddy, and/or snowy patch. I have a contractor bag instead of a tarp, to put the wet clothes in and my tarp, cordage, and fire making kit are in a separate container with some other gear for if I'm stranded somewhere for a while (sleeping bag, water filter and bottled water, backup battery, snacks, etc)
Really great video Dave. Thank you. I look forward to taking one of your classes one day. Until then I try to practice my skills with the help of your videos. Dave for the emergency fire stater wouldn't that one you showed a few months ago be better option?
THIS is too much 1st today i find out that donald trump is now the coach of Dream Team America 🤠🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳 AND this is all topped off with the one and ONLY Dave Canterbury selling a wool blanket thats actually made in the USA. Am i in patriot heaven😇? Well done sir.
I see you closing in on that 1 million sub mark. Well deserved sir.

As always, a great kit setup. Thanks Dave.
Love Dave's content. As I watch this, my coffee cup is resting on his Bushcraft 101 book, (on top of my Ashley book of knots).

Loving this Trapping series, Cheers Dave 👍👍🇦🇺
Great kit as always.
Love your videos Dave👍🇬🇧
Great video Dave! Ive got a nice pack trap / cover setup ready. Starting longer trap lines again after along time. Cheers!
Good stuff Dave!
Nice
Not a bunch of extraneous gadget manure. The necessary
get warmed up-get out stuff.
Thanks for the video.
Looking forward to more trapping
Awesome video Dave ... THANKS 👍 ☆☆☆☆☆

That's a great cat man.
Dave, flare over pull start fire? Also, I think a wool cap would be great and easy add for heat retention. Thanks for the video as always
Seen a pull start fail so… the Bernie is a good add although I have a hooded jacket
Have you considered a pack of hand warmers to help effect dexterity if your hands are in bad shape
Good set up
I grew up trapping in Ohio . Good way to grow up.
G JOB
Dave do you have any ideas on a great substitute for wool? I'm very allergic to wool.
My last ditch survival kit is a whole-ass ham and a PLB :D
Spending my Maui morning with the Grey Bearded Green Beret; watched Trump win last night and now learning from Mr. Canterbury... good stuff!
👍👍
Have you ever had to use that kit ?
THIS is too much

Does including domestic pets in the video improve the YT algorithm?
No clue he’s been here 7 years and does what he wants
