Kieran- can I just say how I love your channel. I live in Prescot so watched your bimbles around Rainhill and St Helens.
This one in particular speaks to me because my MIL lives in Marple and I often get the train to there or Rose Hill.
This summer I got the train to Macclesfield and then went to Bollington to see Holly the Cafe Boat (another fav channel).
Also just need to mention how I adore your music and general self.

Spent 6 years of my life working for Virgin trains at Warrington bank Quay and Liverpool Lime street. Spent a few weeks at Piccadilly training. I never thought I would say it but I miss it now.

Great video Kieran but it made me feel very old. My family moved to Marple in 1968 and lived a stones throw from the Rosehill to Macclesfield railway (Middlewood Way). We used to watch the trains pass by. Then in the 1970’s after the line closed we used the old track bed as a short cut to High School before people had decided to convert it into a cycle path.
