@@limagourmetperufoodtours Well I am looking for a place in Lima that serves lobster and crab but ... I can't seem to find such a place 😞 and maybe I'll look up you guys there

Oh lobster and crab, great taste! At La Mar when it’s in season, they have a phenomenal mouth-watering lobster. For crab, try a causa with cangrejo, delicious. As a seafood lover you may also enjoy dishes like tiradito (marinated fish carpaccio) conchitas (scallops), or pejerrey (silverside). Let us know what your favorite meal is during the visit 🍽🙌

Awesome idea for a channel. Research is something most channels forget. Please don't stay just on that "Fusion"idea. Fusion is good but traditional is also very interesting (and whitout tradition, fusion would never exist). As an example Lomo Saltado is knew nowdays by almost everyone (even cheffs) about being marinated with soja sauce, but did you know that back at the 80's, this was something you mostly just found at Chifa restaurants? before the 80's crisis most people ate the Lomo Saltado marinated with Vinegar, and or Pisco, and salt. But of course Soja sauce is cheaper so thanks to the economic crisis nowdays everyone just remember that. Also, most peruvians think about the Arroz con Pollo like one of the main dishes at peruvian cuisine; but again this just happened after peruvian crisis at the 80's , since the original dish is Arroz con Pato ( Rice with duck) , the version using chicken is ust a much cheaper version of the recipe. It will be awesome if you mention the evolution of the dishes at your videos.

What a fantastic idea for a future video, the evolution of tradition and dishes! On our tours we cover that angle, especially Peruvian cuisine an de society before and after the 80s as it marked such a difference, but even traditions from a broader perspective would be beautiful to cover in an upcoming video. Thank you so much for taking the time to provide feedback on bringing rich content on Peru to the world! 👍😊

@@limagourmetperufoodtours Thanks, You will find History at peruvian dishes all the time. Just one example, The Pachamanca maybe as older as the Cebiche. Even at pre Incas, cultures , but with a different cooking technique,. Researching about all this is amazing for any video. Most people videos are only about flavor, but even flavor has history, even more at the older culture from all America.

Excellent examples and we couldn’t agree more about the importance of dishes as a vehicle for history, culture, and tradition in addition to the flavor. We’re on the same page and will be sure to fold in more in-depth info as we continue on our content creation quest 🙌😊

Maravilloso aporte!
