I like the ending note, "You'll always rank up worrying about improving" Ive spent so much of my time in Valorant working on the little things outside of aim, I started to slowly climb. Movement, Angles, comms, etc all have helped me. Ive only been playing for about 4months now but started in Bronze 3 and have climbed to G2, one win away from G3! It wasnt til this act I really started playing valorant but i love the skill ceiling in each rank. Best of luck to you all and keep the good vibes amongst your team!

Agree with lots of these tips apart from the filling. These past few months I've been locking raze and really learning the ins and outs of the agent, and I've been rewarded by being able to climb from d3 to asc 2 (2 games from asc3) while match mvping almost every game. it's just so much easier to be confident when i know exactly what im doing with a specific agent, and i have set plays and also experience in different situations with her kit, instead of having to improvise and overthink my util because im playing a different agent every game
couldnt agree more. learning an agents ins and outs and different playstyles for maps brings a lot of confidence. i'd say the filling method could work if you have good aim to make up for the lack of time spent agent mastering
yeah same i was like ok this guys is saying awesome things apart filling... i tried filling and it's jsut not that good i mean i liked it for some time but than i lost consistency and woohojin sais never fill too
I don't think what you said is mutually exclusive to his point. You can actually be good with multiple agents, I play different agents on different maps, and can always be on a different role. It's more to learn but it can make a better comp. What's the chance of you winning when your team instalock 5 duelists, right? Filling requires knowledge of different agents, that's the strength one tricks don't have. But you should NOT fill a role you cannot play.
You're just bad at other agents because you dont play them lol. That is not the same thing. I filled from gold to immo 3 solo q. My worst role is duelist because i dont fill duelist that much but i can still play at a high level because i practice duelist on my alt thats immo mmr
Really good guide. And yes, post a warmup routine pls. I used the aim routine you posted before and it was great. I improved a lot through that. Maybe an updated one will be great, as I will be pushing solo and I need a proper warmup and aim training routine. Your contents are always amazing sena, keep up the great content😊
unbind your scoreboard is what helped me a lot, I noticed when I had really bad games I was always just flashing my k/d up there and getting more and more tilted.

Hi, Sena! Thanks so much for the tips... they're super helpful, and I'm trying to apply them in my gameplay, and I'm really grateful that you're out here trying to spread some knowledge and spread some love. I'm currently Iron 1, sad as that sounds, but I feel I'm playing really well with my teammates, and although I'm not exactly clicking head, I am setting up plays and executes with my util and comms, and so far this act I have a 50% winrate in ranked and a 100% winrate in unranked. I think I'm on board to hitting bronze either this act or the next. The problem with me is I'm going negative in every single game. Doesn't matter if I'm having a good day or a bad one... I'm consistently getting something like 6/21/8 and I really think the only thing I'm missing is the aim and the accuracy. Do you have any tips for improving?
have a warmup routine that you do at the start of every session. keep it short and sweet. and any spare time you have play plenty of deathwatch’s it’s the single best way to improve your gunplay
I'm in the same boat, Iron 1 last act, unranked this one, and a negative K/D all the time. Even on my best games I go like 17/19/5 or something. I'm trying to focus on one thing at a time, atm I'm focusing on keeping my crosshair at head level and pre-aimimg corners, and it helps me to have one thing in mind that I tell myself over and over. I practise that in dm before I queue up too and I'm trying not to care at all about kills and the scoreboard there, just focusing on that one thing I wanna get better at. Glhf, we can do it!
I'm only Iron, I started playing a few months ago and there are so many things I have to improve. I'm trying to do it one thing at a time. I play for fun, not to reach a certain rank, but getting out of Iron would still be nice^^ Your videos are inspiring in a way that they always make me want to try and be a better player, keep up the good work!
New act now, this video will definitely help me reach my rank because the previous ones really do. Previous rank G2, will update this post at the end of the act for my current rank. Good content as always Senna!
I came from CSGO playing a couple games of valorant here or there. I finally made the jump to make Valorant my main game. I solo q’d from silver 1 to immortal 2 in one episode playing almost 237 games. The biggest issue I had during that time was team morale. It seems at lower ranks a single round lost can absolutely destroy peoples mentals so I learned to be up beat and supportive to keep my team from just giving up. A lot of players just have super weak mentalities and sometimes you gotta be a punching bag to secure the W.
Thanks a lot, Sena. After deciding to fill the last 4 ranked matches, I won 3 and lost 1. (I filled as omen on lotus twice, raze on split, and raze on bind). Positive k/d too on every win!
Filling might make sense immortal+. Anything below that, just instalock the agent you can frag out the most and run it down. You might lose a game here and there but will win alot more.
quick tip for better aim and better reaction use yellow outlines and green crosshair... why green? green is a daily colour we see which makes us aim better why yellow outline?... its one of the fastest colour humans react
what I like to do and it always result in a win, is if there are no IGl in my team I try to match my playstyle that can support my duelist or my team. for example I'm omen and playing in ascent, I saw my team trying to rush b, i'll get ready to flash the entrance and quickly smoke for market before the ct. if i'm sentinel then I'm always getting ready to trade or trying to flank for my team. if i'm duelist then i'll just duel every angle isolating 1v1 and trying to pick kills to make my teams life easier, take space or holding choke point. and when I'm an initiator I always try my best to initiate the plays i'm always ready to give the best support to make my duelists life easier. it depends on what your team needs, if you found that your team likes to fight a lot then try to be a trader for them, if they play safe you'll be the one trying to take space instead. I just had a game before typiung this comment and since they don't comm a lot i try to be the one feeding them coms instead like I always try to look at the minimap or any sounds or information I can get I will immediately give the com even if they don't listen. I also found that in defending my duelists are so aggressive they will take space and are not afraid to flank so me using sova try to make it easier for them to do it, i'll go with them to become a trader or use my utils to make them take the early fights easier.
Awesome tips man! I don't think you need "2023" in the title. Most of your tips are universal truths about improving! I don't think a lot of people highlight being a good teammate (not toxic), good communication, and having a plan. Having a loose plan gives you a huge advantage against the other team especially if their comms are not good.
alt account bit at 10:05 is soooo real. My main is dia 1 and alt is dia 3 rn. The mindset on alts is completely different but it's easier said than done to get that same mindset on your main xD
Ascendant 2 Immortal is the goal! What you may find interesting is that I have never had a positive kd... I sometimes have a few games went the shots hit and I carry, but I loose those more often than I win when I have good stats. Im pretty lost in those terms haha
I felt the same then like a few weeks ago I hit D2 and let me tell you it was the most satisfying thing just to conquer my plateau don’t give up my one tip is to just play what agents you like don’t worry about comps too much
@@n07H1m I have heard of a lot of people having this a lot I think it comes from people thinking “I was D2” or whatever rank and not trying as hard cause it’s lower rank than your peak so you kinda auto pilot
disabling all my skins works! besides the vibe of playing on an alt account, i also focus more on the gunfights themselves rather than the satisfaction of hearing the kill sound of a gun skin
For now I usually play on weekends. I reached ascendant 1 and plan on working my way up to immo 1 but I set small goals for myself like getting to 50rr ascendant 1 first then slowly get to ascendant 2 and so on. Thx for the tips Sena I'm gonna send this to my duo so we can improve together 😂
i hope some people in lower ranks see this, but when i’m having a bad game. (when i’m not duelist) i literally “bait” or “trade” my duelist. it usually snowballs in gaining confidence and you actually tend to start getting multiple kills a round. better then doing your own thing and not being there for your team.
I needed this video because my duo is as and only plays valorant for fun doesn’t practice or anything just goes into comp and wondered why there iron 1 and get 4 kills a game
Solo'd from Plat 2 to Ascendant (OK D3 70 PTS BUT IMMA GET THERE OK TWO MORE GAMES) and yeah I definitely agree with all of these tips. Playing nervous or caring too much usually fucks up my aim and decision making, and practicing shit you're bad at is a good way to win extra rounds when you're put in situations you're uncomfortable in, and winning an extra round could result in a game won. I've also just been overall working on my mechanics & shit and it's been a steady climb. Also calling for the team even if it ain't working is a lot better than just silent solo gameplay.
solo q'ed from iron 3 to s1 in 2 acts i can confirm being non toxic will give u more wins, everytime someone on the team gets toxic at a player for doing bad, it either turns into an argument or makes both players play worse
Dia 2 right now. Hope to get to dia 3 lmao. I have solo queued from silver 3 to dia 1 after the hard reset and boy oh boy was that hard. However I didn't really care since before the reset my peak was plat 3 so I played confidently through my comp matches. Now that I am getting closer to ascendant I noticed that I got scared again, careful and overall a worse player. Thanks for the reminders and the other tips on rising the ranks. Cheers!
tip - in low ranks just instalock who your comfortable playing, low elo really doesnt matter, and playing who your comfortable with allows you to play better. getting into higher elo, trying becoming comfortable with an agent of every role, filling will become more important for playing off people and generally having a better team composition. a good tip aswell is getting comfortable with another agent depending on what role you like playing, for example, if you having a good team comp, and you want to play someone who is locked on your main agent, having another agent to fall back on is great when it comes to maximising match performance.
coming from someone who watches these videos quite often, experimenting has became THE most important tip of all. you will never get better at a game unless you play for yourself, so just have fun and do what works for you, good luck :)
Playing the game for fun instead of playing for ranking up made it much easier for me. I climbed from silver to diamond with 2-3 games per day only, but I do it for fun. Takes the stress out of my mind, making me play better
I just deranked to silver 3. im aiming for g2 or 3 this act but honestly i'm just going down right now. i don't know why but I watch lots of these kinds of videos and always try them out but it never works and I just feel Im getting worse by the second xD. I always say this. val is a game where the more u play the worse u get T_T
the fear of losing and queueing after is my biggest issue, im very competitive but knowing that an insane game can turn into a loss streak is alot lol.
I was a bronze 2 then I solo queued my way to silver 2 but then I started to get a losing streak. Watching this guide helped me find my mistakes and improve what I am terrible at
I went from bronze 3 to plat 3 i can say that the hardest rank was silver because of teamates get yourself a good duo and rank up together. Ps: took me a month to get out of silver to gold but it only took a week from gold to plat
It's so easy to say "just be the IGL". As a woman, the moment I tap v button to comm, the game turns into a nightmare. Currently considering to use a voice changer, can't take this anymore.
Already this video points out what a rarity I am in terms of bad luck. This act so far I have went negative in about 1 in 20 games, yet I have lost about 60% of them. Oftentimes due to 1 or 2 extremely bad teammates who either 1.) go afk for several rounds, 2.) don't listen to others or comm, or 3.) just play exceedingly poorly.
I understand from experience in game and in life that if person doesn't have nothing to lose, he will show his best performance even if he doesn't want that.
thank you for the helpful tips, losing really gives me performance anxiety and stops me from playing how i should. im plat 3 rn and i wanna be diamond 2 by the end of the act :)
I'm diamond but my goal is to hit ascendant by the end of the act. I hope your tips will help not just me but for others as well :). One thing I noticed though is when I play with people who has a positive mindset and not be toxic I win 80% of the time compared to people I win 20% of the time when my team don't talk and get toxic when you make one silly mistake.
@@ChillieGaming I recommend you to change your play style to more aggressive. If you have average 90 ping or higher you should peek enimies first, because if you will wait for them to peek you first they will recognize you faster because of ping advantage. Also try to play with operator or play a sniper role in your team, sniping dont that much depend on ping. GL
I Don't know if there is enough time for this Act since it will be ending soon but I'm currently in Bronze 3, and I wanna get into Gold. This is the first time I watched your videos and I love it keep making bangers man!
These tips are very helpful . thank you . And as a solo player some days will be bad but having a positive mindset is gonna help you out .. i was b3 i reached p1 . Being positive and not playing too many games in one day helped me alot to improve and look into what weakness and strong points i have .
I just hit plat 1 this act after being in gold for 4 months. Getting diamond would be nice, but my goal for now is to just get better and learn more about valorant and it's intricacies
Started last act from a 1 year period of not playing (since valorant´s lifespan I've probably player only 400 games more or less), I'm currently almost diamond 3, wanna get asc 2-3 by the end of this act. Its hard to rank up because I have to learn a lot of movement concepts and roles, I basically climbed the acc to plat mmr playing reyna without having any concept just clicking heads. But I think I will be able to do it
currently immo 1 but trying to hit immo 3 by the end of the act and focus on having a good hidden mmr so i rank up quickly after the hard reset. i thought of it as a strat to get from immo to radiant with the least amount of time put into it just make sure u play good when u q it doesnt matter if u win or lose if u play on ur highest every game bc then u have a rlly good hidden mmr and will rank up very fast after the hard reset and potentially hit radiant easier obviously u still have to be good at the game to get radiant tho but i think this technique will save a lot of time
I solo queued from Gold 2 to diamond 1 in one act, after that it was really difficult cause it's like i never get who communicate via mic, like its very rare to get a teammates who give comms.
I think constantly filling is only good in high elo where you can trust your teammates to be decent at the game. At lower ranks, you can never trust your teammates to be good even in their "comfortable" roles and mastering 1/2 agents is more important and better for you in the long run
Yooooo very nice vid, I just deranked from asc 3. I only play solo q and it feels like it’s so impossible to hit immo in solo q :( hardstuck since 200 games
I'm really suck at playing at solo que and I wanted to play with my friends... But they pretty much demotivated me to play because they're too much scolding than cheering up. When they did play bad I always call nice try which they barely appreciate it. So I'm trying to play Solo que as a Bronze 1. I wanted to have good vibes with the games regardless of my rank. My skills is really that bad but I'm really trying to be better. I hoping I can reach gold a the end of the act. Not trying to boast to my friends that i can do better in solo que but I want to show them that I'm really trying to be better. Really² thank you for the tips. Edit: wrong typo

what I like to do and it always result in a win, is if there are no IGl in my team I try to match my playstyle that can support my duelist or my team. for example I'm omen and playing in ascent, I saw my team trying to rush b, i'll get ready to flash the entrance and quickly smoke for market before the ct. if i'm sentinel then I'm always getting ready to trade or trying to flank for my team. if i'm duelist then i'll just duel every angle isolating 1v1 and trying to pick kills to make my teams life easier, take space or holding choke point. and when I'm an initiator I always try my best to initiate the plays i'm always ready to give the best support to make my duelists life easier.
it depends on what your team needs, if you found that your team likes to fight a lot then try to be a trader for them, if they play safe you'll be the one trying to take space instead.
I being stuck in silver for 2 weeks but by watching your videos it boosted me thanks for tips
Woohoojin would not be happy with this video
The flexibility effect wood probably cause woohoojin to shit himself
Hey, i betu wont even remember me, but im the guy that kept telling u to still remember me when u hit 100k subs, there u r buddy
incredible video i'll start applying everything tomorrow thanks
I have solo queued from iron 3 to silver 2 and hope to be gold 1 by the end of the act. Love your videos and hope you keep up the amazing content!.
Good guide but sometimes shit happens how we gonna deal with that unlucky moments
alt account bit at 10:05 is soooo real.
I basically retired from valorant cause I was stuck in plat 3 for so long
I felt the same then like a few weeks ago I hit D2 and let me tell you it was the most satisfying thing just to conquer my plateau don’t give up my one tip is to just play what agents you like don’t worry about comps too much
@@krptddamage3322 I was stuck in g3 for 1 year then I suddenly hit diamond 2 and after 4 months of not playing I'm stuck in platinum
@@n07H1m I have heard of a lot of people having this a lot I think it comes from people thinking “I was D2” or whatever rank and not trying as hard cause it’s lower rank than your peak so you kinda auto pilot
Taking breaks is important. I quit playing for an act and came back and the game felt so much more refreshing.
I was the same way and I stopped playing for a long time but came back recently and I’m only 30 rr from immo 1, solo queuing too
Really good tips, I'll be using these 🔥
Thank you! ❤
disabling all my skins works! besides the vibe of playing on an alt account, i also focus more on the gunfights themselves rather than the satisfaction of hearing the kill sound of a gun skin
12:11 - 12:24 awww sena same, even we love you alot according to me you are the best tips and tricks youtuber ngl
Sena Army
❤❤
Really enjoyed this Video, been hardstuck diamond for like 8-9 Months now, imma stop caring now
Started playing Valo 3months ago I'm currently plat 1, hoping to hit diamond this act. Great vid as always man keep it up!!
i was b3 when u made the video and as of today twelfth of september i am p3. Thank u for the help !
My Rank is Bronze 1 and I want to Reach Gold and Hopefully Radiant in the Future
I'm iron 2, and I'm aiming for silver 1 by the end of the act. I know I can do it, I just need to try.
i hope some people in lower ranks see this, but when i’m having a bad game. (when i’m not duelist) i literally “bait” or “trade” my duelist. it usually snowballs in gaining confidence and you actually tend to start getting multiple kills a round. better then doing your own thing and not being there for your team.
Thank you 💞.
I needed this video because my duo is as and only plays valorant for fun doesn’t practice or anything just goes into comp and wondered why there iron 1 and get 4 kills a game
Honestly this is the video I needed
Cheers!
tysm for another video sena, helps a lot
K/D is always positive except for 0/0. What you mean is a K/D above 1.
The video was worth my time. Thanks for this Sena
My pleasure :)
favorite youtuber right here
tip - in low ranks just instalock who your comfortable playing, low elo really doesnt matter, and playing who your comfortable with allows you to play better. getting into higher elo, trying becoming comfortable with an agent of every role, filling will become more important for playing off people and generally having a better team composition. a good tip aswell is getting comfortable with another agent depending on what role you like playing, for example, if you having a good team comp, and you want to play someone who is locked on your main agent, having another agent to fall back on is great when it comes to maximising match performance.
coming from someone who watches these videos quite often, experimenting has became THE most important tip of all. you will never get better at a game unless you play for yourself, so just have fun and do what works for you, good luck :)
Thanks for the tips Sena. Very well said
Playing the game for fun instead of playing for ranking up made it much easier for me.
I dunno if you still play, but if you need at least one teammate that isn’t hella toxic I’m down to run some games at some point
me watching this with 12 games losing streak
I hope this works!
Thanks for the video!
Best outro speech I have heard in a while man. You have a very kind and understanding mindset. Keep it up and keep thriving! :)
Already this video points out what a rarity I am in terms of bad luck. This act so far I have went negative in about 1 in 20 games, yet I have lost about 60% of them. Oftentimes due to 1 or 2 extremely bad teammates who either 1.) go afk for several rounds, 2.) don't listen to others or comm, or 3.) just play exceedingly poorly.
the last sentence was so good WOW
I understand from experience in game and in life that if person doesn't have nothing to lose, he will show his best performance even if he doesn't want that.
thank you for the helpful tips, losing really gives me performance anxiety and stops me from playing how i should. im plat 3 rn and i wanna be diamond 2 by the end of the act :)
me too pog lets q together lol
in the past 2 days i went from plat 1 to diamond 2. literally just be confident in your ability and be a good teammate and you will rank up
PLLSSS I NEED THIS NEW WARMUP ROUTINE
I'm new to this game and a new sub thanks for the informative videos
one of ur best vids yo
Great tips! Love all your videos ❤
My problem is I only win on days that i get 60 ping.
On regular days i get 90 to 100 ping.
So it's very hard to win.
GL
Even after going from Iron to Immortal there is so much in this video i need to focus on 😅.... Thnks Sena ❤
I Don't know if there is enough time for this Act since it will be ending soon but I'm currently in Bronze 3, and I wanna get into Gold. This is the first time I watched your videos and I love it keep making bangers man!
You will never improve by worrying about your rank but you will always rank up if you worry about improving 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
But I think I will be able to do it
😊Loved your video. I really like to play smokes or initiator but my duelists suck and now I’m a raze one trick…. Maybe I’ll give filling one more try
I’ve probably won 90% of all games where everyone’s on comms making jokes and laughing. Moral is everything.
Thanks this really helped and i have gotten to play from silver in a week
Nice video, I'm in the process of leveling my new main account, was plat, I hope to reach ascendant soon, but no big deal if I get gold instead.
Im currently Bronze 2 but i really want to hit silver 1 by the end of the act this video really helped
currently immo 1 but trying to hit immo 3 by the end of the act and focus on having a good hidden mmr so i rank up quickly after the hard reset. i thought of it as a strat to get from immo to radiant with the least amount of time put into it
just make sure u play good when u q it doesnt matter if u win or lose if u play on ur highest every game bc then u have a rlly good hidden mmr and will rank up very fast after the hard reset and potentially hit radiant easier
obviously u still have to be good at the game to get radiant tho but i think this technique will save a lot of time
I solo queued from Gold 2 to diamond 1 in one act, after that it was really difficult cause it's like i never get who communicate via mic, like its very rare to get a teammates who give comms.
Cool video! Right now im Platinum 1 and i would like to reach diamond 1 before the act ends
Thanks for the tips
I think constantly filling is only good in high elo where you can trust your teammates to be decent at the game. At lower ranks, you can never trust your teammates to be good even in their "comfortable" roles and mastering 1/2 agents is more important and better for you in the long run
Im starting as a peak of b2 but im hopefully ending in gold in the end of the act hopefully as i follow your advise
Thank you, truly.
Yooooo very nice vid, I just deranked from asc 3. I only play solo q and it feels like it’s so impossible to hit immo in solo q :( hardstuck since 200 games
I would absolutely Love a new warmup routine
sena we love you too dawg
i went radiant from iron 3 after watching this thank you💗💗💗💗💗💗
Hey Sena, great video! Just wondering if you use any mouse accel program or you just have a set sens? :)
Currently ascendant 2 i was plat3 when i watched this
@sena pls make a video with the best agents for each map and different roles, i would highly appreciate that
really helped me tq soo much. ❤
