I love when families who have children who have been adopted from other countries do things involving their culture. It’s really cool to teach them about their roots especially to do it as a family and everyone gets to experience it together is just beautiful.
The mum is so sweet, calm and polite 😌 definitely felt good watching this.

@@TheRealCartman1 I'm chinese and I know damn well that most of the dishes are not real chinese cuisine but inspired and changed to suit western taste, I was just answering your statement because I found it funny and also... the food western people order on a chinese restaurant ain't the same that chinese people order so, it might be that you are only exposed to those dishes even if the restaurant does offer some authentic chinese cuisine dishes.

The problem when you are American is that you (usually) grow up eating pizza, processed food, canned food and everything that the industry created to addict people.
When you try dishes from different cultures, mainly from Asia, there are a lot of raw, fresh and fermented dishes that americans just CAN'T appreciate because they are not used to it.
Unfortunately, that makes them to have a limited selection of tastes for food.
FourDimensional _ I, myself don’t eat processed food, junk food, etc and there are some Americans who don’t eat like that either. I like to expose myself to other types of food originated from other regions. Just know that it isn’t like that for all Americans :D

FourDimensional _ I’m a mixed Korean-Filipino American and my husband and my cousins husband are both Caucasian. My husband has no problem trying things and eating food from both the Korean and Filipino side. He likes food in general except for kimchi or stuff made with shrimp paste lol 😂 but my cousins husband is such an ignorant guy and is never open to trying food.
When they’re in town to visit none of the family even bother to cook anything like a feast anymore since he’s super picky and basically eats like a kid with Mac n cheese and hot dogs or just steak and potatoes. My auntie and uncle love my husband more than their son in law because of how picky he is with food 😂

You just have to warm up to tofu!! It is weird at first, but it’s really good depending on what you cook it in! Tofu absorbs the flavor of what’s around it, so spices and sauces are important! Now I love tofu!!😍😍

I never understood people being disgusted by meat that looks like the animal ... like that's where meat comes from. It IS an animal. Beef isn't just beef, it's cow. Chicken is an actual chicken. I dry fry the tofu before I stir fry it with veggies. That way it's nice and firm instead of squishy.
