As a Lakers fan, saying they're "title contenders" after 4 games is a massive overstatement. Yes, JJ Reddick does seem to be more hands on than Darvin Ham but let's not forget that this is his first year as a head coach and saying that he'll coach the Lakers to the finals is the craziest expectation anyone could possibly have. He's going to have some struggles throughout the season just like everyone else. And in the Nuggets perspective, I wouldn't be surprised if Mike Malone takes Westbrook out of the starting lineup sooner than later since the bad typically outweighs the good with him.

I didn't understand the skepticism with JJ Redick. I would if he was maybe teaching high school ball oddly enough as that takes a completely different approach with a specific set of skills to guide kids but grown professional hoopers? He's a 10+ yr NBA vet who's been on multiple teams playing different schemes, has been in mentor roles as a player and only recently retired. He's also a very analytical person. JJ's pretty much tailor-made to coach in the modern NBA unlike some "established" coaches that run outdated schemes and can't connect with players.
